Kyzarius
Some newbie advice to those who are trying so hard to pk in the 50 range yet are having problems. 1. If you're losing the melee, dont bash. A few people out there lately, bash no matter what..till they die...themselves. Comeon, if you see you're losing HP to fast, dont lag lock yourself. Gauge the melee first then go for the lock. 2. Flee, then heal. Yeah great, but the point is to flee...run away some, THEN heal. So you dont flee, then take more damage than you healed yourself for because you're lagged right next to them. 3. If you're in a cabal, you have no excuse to not have flight. Really, a well placed trip can stop you from escaping. I believe every cabal sells an 18 tic flight potion. 4. Cabal healers (the one outside the cabal, yes!) can heal for 100hp and it costs 25 cp with ~4 rounds of lag. Use this when under siege to recover quickly so you can defend, or as a retreat to recover and press an assault. 5. Cabal healers (yes the one outside) will also randomly cast armor, bless (an AWESOME BLESS), refresh or cure light. When you're healed up, since no regen occurs by the healer, idle there a bit and get those buffs! 6. Never spam, ever, always enter your next command the moment you expect the lag from the previous to pass. You never know when a changeup in what you were about to cast might save your life or end your opponents.

Implementor Anume Posted July 29, 2011 Implementor Report Share Posted July 29, 2011 Kill them faster (lag is only a concern if they outdamage you) As general advise goes: Use color triggers to see when you get disarmed and when sanc / flight / other vital stuff falls, use different colors for different things but just use it for the important stuff. jibber
Far easier to colorize stuff on tintin++, even to the point of advance substitution where you color only one word in a long string of stuff.
