f0xx
What annoys me more is the fact that when you roll an adventurer you need to have your description approved twice.
Bimpni
it would likely help smooth the transition if when you dcheck from your remorted class, send a quick note that you've remorted from adventurer. I know it would help me, at least, because then I know someone else has already approved you if I haven't.

f0xx
Jeez, NO. Why does something that has been approved once has to be approved again after remort? Btw, this is no whine about the time it takes to approve a desc, I've found that the current staff approves all my descs before I reach lvl 15 anyway, I just find this little thing odd, unnecessary and creating unneeded work for the IMMs.

Bimpni
As far as I'm aware, autoapproving of a desc would require some sort of coding, for advens to a new guild, I am no coder, but the note (yes it is more work for the player/imm) would help to recitfy the situation quicker. I believe Zhorkril is busy in RL, so for the time being, I'm looking for a way to work with what we have, rather then something that I cannot help with. So just a note to Immortal, after you do you dcheck, that my desc has already been approved, may help. Although generally once a desc has been approved, and I take a look at it, I approve it. The one time I didn't I forgot I had approved the desc when the player was a adventurer. Most of the time, I'm not even aware what class they are, when I see a desc. So in short, an automated system would be nice, but it requires work that I am incapable of doing at this point in time, maybe if Zho gets the time it might not be that much to code, but personally, I'd rather see Zerk and healer changes get implemented along with a few other things then an automated system. I can understand that and I am taking notes.
Bimpni
either way I believe it would require coding, since I assume (pulling this out of my ***) that since a player remorts, the code views them as a new character, or something of that nature. I would assume it has to do with something starting out at level 1. Adventurers were a new creation before Viri left, and to my knowledge every other qrace that was implemented at that time started out at 15-30. I don't believe psi's or liches were in, so I don't think the subject of having to approve a desc twice ever came up. For whatever the reason, the game just doesn't recognize characters that reclass as having an approved desc, and the only way to fix it would be coding. You are right perhaps, considering that Qclasses that remort from level 50 to 1 need to get their descriptions approved again too.
