Stop trying to power game!

In my experience the Imms will look at "imbalance" much more seriously if you can prove over time that something is in need of fixing. Based on what we spoke about in game I think you have some really valid points, but I don't think deleting was the way to get your points across most effectively.

I'll miss Mamoru, was cool to be on your side for once Megayeah.

You are mistaken. I have never been one to power game. If I wanted an op combo, I would've gone with an ogre. I just saw the idiocity in the things I mentioned to you and I really cannot bear when I point out bugs and imbalanced things and the result is to get yelled at and told that I am running on someone's nerves. So, I just decided to delete now, instead of losing my nerves again and doing things I would probably regret later.

Edit: Now though, I will create a real massacre. If I am going to get yelled at for trying to point out bugs and mistakes, I might as well get yelled at for killing everything that moves with no reason as well, right?

I was sorta kidding about the power gaming, but I mean that I think you got so caught up in your "flaws" maybe because of expectations you had for the characters abilities that you stopped looking at the positive aspects of the path you chose. You were doing well and I think would have been very strong if you stuck around. Seems kinda like a waste to me, but best of luck with your next!

Sorry to hear man.. Hopefully things work out. I remember when I played with Jevrax they changed Sermon for good. I was very upset when they did that.. but I guess it was fair.

Hopefully they look at the "bugs" "unbalanced" issues from every angle and give you a proper breakdown of their opinion.

In my experience the Imm's do a very good job at that. There are times when I thought things were very unbalanced especially with PSI and then I just decided to switch tactics and found great success.. but there was a time when I was basically dead no matter what if I fought one. Similar to vampires as well... I found that for the longest time I couldn't do anything to beat those bastards.

What I think for stupid is that when you take the archer path and are able to shoot from 7 rooms range, that a warrior or a ninja can shoot you back. How the heck they can shoot from 1 room range by default but retaliate from 7?I find this quite unfair when a class doesn't take such a cool paths like beastmaster or tracker just to become an archer.I am just saying this from a balance view.

That is not the only problem, nor the main one. I was shot at by a bard and the bard dealt more damage than me with a cabal bow. And the helpfile on marksman state that archers should do more damage than others. No matter the statements that I have mals and stuff with the archer, it should do if not a lot more, at least slightly more damage than the other classes. And it does not.

To clarify:

- There has been a bug with distance shooting and sleeping arrows, it has been fixed. If it occurs again, let us know.

- There is no bug with people shooting back, that is an intended balance feature. An archer is not supposed to kill just everyone from a distance.

- Archer advantages are that they are the sole combi that has a chance to get their arrows through missile shield, they can mal people up, they can hit vulns and they can create their own bows and ammunition. They also do hit harder than other classes with the exact same setup. They are not intended to just kill people by shooting at them.

Then you should update the helpfile on marksman. It should say that it does not increase damage with ranged weapons AT ALL. Cause if you test it with an archer with let's say Composite bow and hunting arrows and a warrior with same bow and arrows you will notice there is no difference in the damage.

Archers do hit harder than non archers. As you insisted your feral ninja hit harder, we took the time to run a test on test, here's the result guys:

Feralninja vs Feralarcher both watcher, both with cabal eq and hunter eternal (giving them the exact same hr dr), both with all skills mastered, both without other skills like warcry or other buffs on test:

out of 10 shots:

Feralninja: maims, dismember, miss, lacerate, miss, dismember, lacerate, miss, lacerate, miss

Feralarcher: massacre, massacre, massacre, massacre, massacre, dismember, dismember, massacre, lacerate, multilate

End result: ninja died. Opps.

So who was better? ;)

Edit, alright feralwarrior too, just for you...

Feralwarrior (same setup once again): miss, lacerate, maim, lacerate, devastate, dismember, dismember, dismember, dismember, lacerate

So yeah, this guy did a bit better than our ninja but still a lot worse than our archer.

scratch maul LACERATE *** OBLITERATE ***
graze decimate DISMEMBER === DISINTEGRATE ===
hit devastate MASSACRE >>> ANNIHILATE injure maim MANGLE >>
wound MUTILATE ***DEMOLISH*** do UNSPEAKABLE things

You already did some testing with your feral archer against a feral warrior, with gave the very same result. You hit harder than he did. We can repeat this test over and over and will still get the same result. *shrugs*

And I doubt you really think we gimped you bc we felt like it, do you? If we gimp someone, we let them know.

And if you post here that something is the case, which is clearly not, the staff will - and should - clarify this statement so that other players do not think a problem is there when there is not.
