sarcon
Again.. I have been away from quite sometime but I have noticed that the same thing is happening. There are times when I am flying and everything is fine with my connection and what not. However, the second I start getting into a fight everything starts to slow down all of a sudden. Then I would notice an Immortals laugh or chuckle or something. (in some cases) Is there anyway that "snoop" causes lag? Or does this happen to be a serious random coincident.. that happens quite frequently?
megayeah
I've experienced lag spikes as well, but not exactly when I start fighting someone. I doubt it being because an immortal is stalking you, but what does an idiot like me know?
Bimpni
I haven't noticed a chuckle or anything like that, but on my morts I get laggy in fights sometimes, but its not just with pk, mobs too. I think its a crappy connection on my end. Gauntlets in particular are the biggest pain, or necro's/rangers if pk.
Erana
Sounds like a client-side problem. Try logging in through telnet and see if you lag the same.
bavarianbrew
Yes, lately I also have been receiving lag spikes too.
The-Nameless
Also try trimming back the triggers/timers/macros/aliases your using. What I do is create different connection setups based solely on an individual character so I don't have all my highlights going for an invoker when I am playing a ranger etc etc. If you run highlights for each class you can easily have 50-60 highlights your client is checking for with each line that blows by.
