Teralis
I want to try out the new paths and have not played but one zerk ever and failed almost miserably. Not sure the race but it will not be a giant or ogre as I want to experiment a little and may go Fury. Anything would be helpful.
jibber
Only really extensively played with Anger Zerks myself. The shield expertise definitely helps, as does the advanced headbutt. Nothing more satisfying then headbutting someone, preventing them to cast, and at the same time dropping their protective shield. If you're fast, you can easily bodyslam them to hell (if you're a giant anyway). Fury is okay, I guess. Two-handed weapons suddenly become your expertise in most fights (or at least ones where bows and projectiles come into play.. which is almost all of them). I'm not so sure it works the way it should, as I've questioned it on the Prayer Forum with no real answers, but if two-handed expertise finally lets two-handed go above 100%, I'd say awesome. I also believe fury should get a boost to parry as well, being that two-handed is directly associated with it. Of course, only people using two-handed weapons should get that boost (like a two-handed set-parry?). Devastation is also very fun from what I've played with. You can continually berserk, and of course you've got bloodhaze. Not sure what else they got extra, since I haven't played one extensively, but Rhompt was one and seemed to do VERY well. Mister E
So you going for Undead? I think it has very good potential, whichever path you decide. I am not an experienced zerk player so I can't offer any other advice.
mya
Dwarf zerk of the Anger Path. Very fun.
Tantangel
I played a Stone Zerk Devastation path a long time ago and it was okay. Lots of damage very fast. On the other side I've recently played a Ogre Zerk who went Anger and I had a bit of fun with him as well just not a whole lot of success on either as far as PK goes. Grylok tooled me pretty good the couple times we were in a challenge. The offhand cleave syntax didn't work at all and that was after it was supposedly fixed so I kind of gave up. But you definitely cleaved weapons a lot easier as well compared to what you used to be able to do. I believe I did it to Rhompt right after I hit pinn and he was helping me rank so I said okay. He still beat me.
Djriacen
Devastation was fantastic. As Rhompt I chose the spear power mastery which I later regretted. The reason was for the Heartsbane that WM gets. You could say I powergammed him as I one practiced everything on a stone giant and didn't even bother practicing boulder throw. Put a good amount of those extra trains into mana and you've got yourself around +600 hp in berserks. To kill Rhompt someone had to blast through around 2100 hp (cabal skill included), imagine that with an Ogre regen. If you want some PK tips just PM me. Jibber and Nekky also play mean berserkers and have proven to be an invaluable source of information.
Tantangel
I beat you twice, but I don't know if you had all that HP. If so, that kind of boosts my ego a little.

I haven't really played any so I probably don't know what I am talking about. However, i remember when Berserkers raged they gain extra hp but when the rage drops they lose that. I think I remember some Berserkers being stunned after they relax.
Implementor Anume Posted March 30, 2012 Implementor Report Share Posted March 30, 2012 Nekky is also a very strong serker player. Perhaps he'll give you some input as well.
Deykari
I think non-giant sized races are underestimated for berserker. I've had an Ogre, Undead, Dwarf and Faerie Zerk - not saying bodyslam is the be-all-and-end-all, but against equal-sized races, bodyslam seems to be much more reliable in laglocking than bash. Dwarf in particular enjoying it's magic resistance makes it a solid communer/mage fighter but that water vuln can be taken advantage of by your melee nemesis, the giant warrior. For a non-giant, I would definitely go fury again with the new changes. Non-giant races tend not to have the glaring magic vulns that the giants do, and the new changes give fury path a HUGE helping hand against melee classes. Devastation is also your wild card option. I want to play another zerker someday, and I am really considering human fury - no vuln, 21 str matches the Dwarf but with nicer dex which will help with a few skills and evasion. I do agree with jibber though, I think two handed expertise should let two-handed go to 103%. Dey
Djriacen
I beat you twice' date=' but I don't know if you had all that HP. If so, that kind of boosts my ego a little. [/quote'] Fighting an undead really threw my game off, haha. Acting stupid during that, for sure, and I wasn't quite at that level of HP just yet. Raging does indeed drop your HP down, it is why you should always be conscientious of where your base is going to be. If an enemy fled away, I often times killed something small to get a grasp of where I really was or to reset my rage time. It wearing off by surprise is NEVER a good thing. The HP mainly came from using Berserk as a healing skill. You get +100 hp every time you use it and you can use it as long as you have the mana to do so. Though if I remember correctly, the amount of mana needed for each one goes up by a %.

Enethier
Mino Fury is fun. Mino devestation is as well. For more than just the charge/flee tactic. Axes can get to 106, i think 110 if you're devestation, but it's been a while, so I'm not sure. It's not as defensive as other zerkers by any stretch of the imagination, but it's sheer damage output with weapons only a few classes know is pretty high. KRins
His faerie zerk was the friggin man. He hung out with my half-elf blm glad Tial. I think the single most important bit of information I got regarding zerks is that you have to be aware that they are a class of timing not a "hey look how big I am, slam slam slam." Sometimes it is better to let a chance to enter a command pass that you might be ready to strike at the perfect time instead of the first opportunity.
