electroglyph
I have a couple nodrop/nouncurse items on my shaman that I really don't want hanging around anymore...what are my options?
jibber
Yes. Move them to the bottom of your inventory (by giving yourself the rares you need). You need to have more than 4 in your inventory.

You need to have more than 4 in your inventory. While I won't pretend that I havent done this uncountable times... I do sometimes wish there wasn't this fairly easy way to get around having rare nouncurse items. A randomizer, perhaps.
Filth
You can also blow them up with enchant scroll if they are weapons. That beats taking advantage of a quarky bit of code.
Tantangel
And once in a while if an Invoker hellstreams he can burn items up in inventory too. Unless that was changed in previous years at least. Otherwise I think it's still possible, just a lot harder to do.

I recall clearly blowing up a high level malform in someone's inventory on Daenaer just a few months ago.
Filth
\ blowing up a high level malform Ouch. That causes physical pain to the characters owner transmitted through the internet in a string of bytes cleverly written to shock the **** out of finger tips. Implementor Anume Posted February 27, 2012 Implementor Report Share Posted February 27, 2012 I don't. While it IS clearly ooc knowledge it is sometimes the only way to get rid of something albei not picking it out of a corpse. If we took out this option we'd see a lot more suicides = direct rule breaking.

jibber
Should be a reverse barter command for merchants so you CAN get rid of said items without having to OOCly get rid of them, IMHO.

inscribed
Make a Brambus-like NPC who, upon request, will cast a focused hellstream at your character that has a chance of vaporizing the target item. If it misses, it hits you for 3/4ths health.
Kyzarius
Cursed item is a punishment, dont want it stuck to you, dont pick it up.
The-Nameless
Yea. I could see that happening. The moment this npc is implemented he would be used as a trap to get people to 25% health. You may as well call him DK BAIT SHOP lol. It is a good idea mind you, just in practice this type of environment would find ways to blatantly abuse it. My suggestion is this: Deal with it. Fl is a harsh, violent place. If your biggest complaint is you can't drop a battlemasters blade then your leagues ahead of the pile of corpses generated daily, and you should be happy with it. There are far worse curses in Aabahran than having to carry an item. I once had a gnome shaman. Duergar mana pool, gnome mental weakness. Wanna talk about suck? I would have carried 5 nodrop nouncurse useless rares before taking that on.

Picking up those items is meant to be a punishment, so any in-game way to get rid of it should carry a hefty risk.
