Wouldn't it be way more fun to play with a weaker' date=' hard build? That makes the game sound really boring to me.[/quote']

Hell yes.

I use a steel armor and steel sword on purpose so that common enemies don't fall in 2 hits. But i learned to keep really high level stuff for back up, since i got 1 shot killed by the Necromancer of ice in the god statue quest where you get the dawnbringer sword. He killed me like 20 times in a row in 1 shot. Most times i could not even run from to door to his location in the room before dieing.

When i actualy managed to kill him with stop time shout + 3 sec paralisys poison, it triggered my decapitation finisher with movie like perfection. It was just amazing.

The game just feels like you are playing a movie.

Next time i play i'm going to make a Conan clone or Red Sonja look alike and never use magic and relly on 2 handed + light armor + no head armor.

And join those silly nords. It's going to be amazing.

You should try it Foxx, sure, it's not a RP like TES II daggerfall, but it's a pretty exelent game.

This game seems very badly balanced.

There are creatures which you can kill in one blow, then there are other creatures that can kill you in one blow, while those are not bosses but ordinary creatures.

Those ice trolls and giants are harder for me to deal with than the dragons. The giant for example just stomps the ground and sends me flying into the atmosphere.

Not to mention the infinite amount of roaming. I spend 90% of my time getting from point A to point B. The other 9% I spend roaming in a dungeon which is point B, while the actual fighting is 1%.

The idea of the skill tree is nice in theory, although it seems really hard for me to "train" the skills. It takes too long to find shops. You can alchemy things, you can smith things, you can melt things. I am only surprised I can't play cards. There are so many things you need to carry, yet the weight limit is so low.

I've been playing this game for 3 days now, and I am doing it only because people say, "Give it some time and it'll grab you."

Dunno how you guys find any enjoyment in this. Endless saves and reloads completely kills the feeling of reality.

PS. Not even talking about the ****load of bugs. I used to think FL was bad... then once I started playing Skyrim I remembered why I decided to give up video games. And I am yet to meet the "Esborn bug".

Ice trolls and giants were never meant for you to fight face to face until you had opened up several trees and mastered the skills within. You can kill the ice trolls far easier than the giants. Ice trolls are vulnerable to fire, and if you have Lydia with you or some other hired brute (which you should before the first cross with an ice troll) let them take all the hits while you:

1. Shoot it with an arrow constantly.

2. Use fire and just walk around it.

3. Backstab it continually.

Giants are always going to be hard to kill. I shoot them with an arrow until they die -- they're very slow. It's also easy to sneak up on them and backstab them.

Fast traveling is your friend. So is the minimap, and in game map. They'll show you where that 'cool little alchemy shop is' or you can easily fast travel from point A to point B if you've been to point B already at one point. Horses also help a lot -- they can climb mountainous terrain that you yourself can't. They can also gallop for periods of time to shorten the time to get from A to B.

The ice troll regenartes VERY fast. How do you shoot it? In order to shoot you have to stand on one place and aim. Not just that but they have resistance to physical weapons. Only way I beat them is to set my difficulty to the easiest possible. Even on that difficulty, I still can't beat a giant, and I've beaten several dragons.

Minimap? What minimap? You mean the compass on top of the screen?

And how do you hide? Every time I try to hide and approach someone, he detects me. Not to mention your companions who usually alert your victim before you get close enough.

I didn't even know you can hire mercs.

I will give it some more time... I guess.
