Izzy
Well as fun as that was, looking at my corpse over and over again is just no fun. You can say what you want, but fighting that Monk when you cant move most of the time is silly. Then fighting Grylok with no cursed staff impossible. I spent all of my time re-equipping from the amount of deaths that happened in two days. Cudos to the both of you. Invoker with no cursed staff definately difficult. I locate black hearts ever world shift everyday, no one wears them, yet there are none in the lands. Sorry Savants, I really want to try what I think might rock, so I will be back, because I want to slaughter the Warmasters, just cant be done with drow invoker with no cursed staff. P.S I learned how to edit my posts.

Izzy
I am going to keep him kicking around, just insane dressing him every moment, and I already left.
tassinvegeta
Was wondering the same about the black hearts. Do they no longer exist? Also at the very least you can make use of the study chain sold witin the Halfling Hamlet to make a socketed weapon nodrop. You can also set triggers to automatically pick up and wield your weapon if they are disarmed in combat.
Mali
I think theres a bug with eq. Consider the following scenario: Player X is in a god suit. Player X does not log in for 6 months. Which of the following will occur? A.) After a set time period, Player X's eq returns to the land or B.) After a set time period, Player X's eq returns to the land when they log back in. If the answer is B, then alot of eq is floating around in limbo, lost to the playerbase.
Implementor Anume Posted March 10, 2012 Implementor Report Share Posted March 10, 2012 The answer to your question is C) The eq is gone after player x has not managed to get his hours for the month BEFORE and the purge shift is done, which I usually do between the 1st and 7th of a month. If he logs on before the purge shift his eq will be gone then. If he logs on after, his eq will be gone in the shift before he logged on but he will still get the message that he looses his eq. f0xx
The only scenario in which EQ disappears is if it is in a bounty bag and held by someone (who has disappeared). Then it will not be purged. Bounty bags need to poof at log out.
Izzy
I had a weapon that was no drop, it didnt really help, then I used the marmalade orb with a wand fully charged, but the beating you take is just crazy from grylok, one round you are left with 200 hp and he is a beast when it comes to chasing same goes with Venmihr. sarcon
I would have to agree that yes.. fighting Grylok with no cursed staff is death. I can last 2 rounds max with him. You can't do any strategy, no master game plan.. nothing when you just cant last 2 rounds. To be honest i haven't even had a chance to fight him with a staff period. He opens up the attack with some nasty WM stuff that insta disarms, then your dirted.. then your dead. Literally two rounds. If you get into the third round your dead. He has defeated the Air elemental for Savant in 3 to 4 ticks.. crazy. Imagine what he does to a person without that much HP. Everyday I logged into FL I pray to the gods that there is a Black Heart.. Yet, i get nothing, blasted gods hate me! I am on a lot too, all hours of the day and i play quite frequently and to be honest I haven't even seen anyone with the Black heart. I knew there was a problem when I had a black heart put into a weapon that I didn't want and I forgot to lift the curse from the black heart so I can put it in other items.. So, I went to the troll, killed it. Dropped my weapon with the black heart, sacrificised it, left the area, troll came back... no heart. I knew then something was up with this black heart.. there should have been no reason why it didn't come back.
Implementor Anume Posted March 11, 2012 Implementor Report Share Posted March 11, 2012 Nothing wrong with the black heart atm. All that are allowed are on players.
Tantangel
As an Invoker you kind of have to see what all works best with him. Yes he's a Feral and yes his vuln is fire. That doesn't mean that you should try and fireball him to death because that might not work at all. Firestorm will help a little bit, but perhaps try call lightning and see if that doesn't work with him. I haven't tried that yet, but I haven't played my Invoker lately either. You could use the chain for the no drop affect, but without a weapon you're in for some pain regardless.
Izzy
No matter, armors come and go, but I only played this drow because I was waiting for 2 months for something else, and got bored, didnt really want to play a drow invoker anyways, hope I do well with my rp, then what I really want to play might happen. Back when I was a newbie, I was looking up to your characters as an example of how strong I want to be. Now that you are back you are making post after post full of whining and complaining. You sound like a little girl, and you are a vet. Pull yourself together. Yes, Grylok is tough, but what else do you expect if you consider that this is a strong combo with elder position, decked and played by one of our best PKers? Do you actually remember a character from MF that hasn't been strong?

f0xx
Nope, Saivash (sp?) wasn't me. [edit] Lotho is actually the character than made me leave shamans and never roll one again. Never in my whole FL history have I felt so helpless against a character that's not even trying to kill me.

Djriacen
hmm.. Crakala, weren't you saying in the other thread how easy it would be to kill Grylok and Venmihr? I personally think Inzli is well played, however.
Mindflayer
Inzli here's my advice. Get yourself a stock of nymph hearts/pond water/red and white staves. Try to get yourself some more +hp gear. If you can last just another round against Grylok, you can spit out two more call lightnings which will end him. Stick around for the promotion to trusted. You'll receive a huge boost to your surviability at that rank.

Lotho was an undead ***-kicking, Nexus stomping machine (I know, had one around that time). I meant play a real healer, like you know, one in Herald or something .
