Rutkowski
It was a long time ago. In fact, it was too long, since I was since here. Not many remember me, but I was one of the first maxed-out Bards, an Elf named Zandrix. I remember Zandrix being married to an Aleana or something like that, but it has been too long to remember. It's nice to be back, and I'm looking forward to catching up with y'all. For reference, I played here around the time the Adventurer class got implented. Rutkowski
Heh, I'm a roleplayer, not a pker. Why do you think I play bards? Now, where to find GMud? It was ages since I used it, and now I can't find the download location.

Rutkowski
Friends dont let friends roll bards I happened to own with my bard. I remember making cards out of some of the best items avaliable for the casual players at the time and owning people with them. Also, I had the best running script avaliable. I could get from one end of the world to the other in moments due to that handy song we had at the time that replenished energy.
Rairen
Huh. Thought I knew all the bard players from that time. Must've just missed you. (Out of curiousity, was it Alaia you married?) You'll appreciate this: There's a Sir Helmsley, the Master Bard. I bet he could use some company in Knight. Oh, but make it a Praetorian. Raar goes through them like toothpicks. The ASCII art looks wierd when I'm ingame.

Raargant
That's the new score sheet. Type 'autoscore'.
Behrens
Also, non-fixed width fonts look poorly on many space delimited screens.
FatMike
I'm fairly sure it's gmud that does that, I can remember using gmud back in the day and my score looking all crazy like that. With JMC it's square like it should be.
Raargant
Oh, yeah, I still use gmud, and my score STILL looks like that
Mister E
change the font, or get GMUDix, a better verson.
Fiere
I'd probably get weirded out if my score didn't look like that, since it has since forever. Gmud.....power!
Rutkowski
The thing is, I changed computer a year and a half back, just after I stopped mudding, and before that, it looked all fine. Also, the rest of the game looks fubered too, as you can see above. Lots of spaces in that combat log. Can't find any active mirror of gMUDix either. Rawr! Mattamue
You have to change the font, Rut. It's been ages since I've loaded up Gmud, but that's something I remember changing after every format. It comes with the default font set to Arial or something - which doesn't work for a mud. Try 'System' or some other bland default font to start with? If it's still too ugly for you I imagine you could find some correctly spaced fonts with sexy curves. Sadly, googling 'fonts with sexy curves' didn't bring up anything promising.
