Warmongrel
Just out of curiosity, if you have your weapons sheathed on your belt or back or wherever you have your sheath holstered, why can you not hold an object? I thought it used to be possible. I dont know if this is putting cabal info out there, but for me to make/wear two cursed cabal weapons, its then impossible for me to use my glimmering staff. At least make it so the staff can be used on the ground. Thought that was how usable objects were meant to be used anyway. Anyhow, just a thought, guess i need to stock up on vials for when i want to wear two cursed weapons?
Nightmare_from_hell
Imm stance on this issue: http://forum.theforsakenlands.org/showthread.php?t=20704&highlight=sheath (Search function works you know ) Basic idea if you are too lazy to read: Benefits of two cursed weapons: No Disarm; Drawbacks of two cursed weapons: Hard to use objects such as the Glimmering Staff. Warmongrel
Honestly, i didnt really get much of an answer out of that. There were lots of ppl commenting on it, but i tried to focus on the imm responses and i didnt reall see a definate answer on specifically dual wielding cursed weapons and using a stave. Whether or not it is meant to be that way and will not change. Thanks for the link though, figured it was probably brought up before.
Erana
We could do it, but then we'd have to disable sheathing cursed weapons.

Archbishop Monk
We could do it' date=' but then we'd have to disable sheathing cursed weapons. [/quote'] Actually, I'm in favor of this as well for RP purposes. I understand it's necessary for balance purposes as is. I find it bad enough you can purposefully weaken yourself to make a 'cursed' weapon let go. But sheathing it? What do you do, keep your hands on the hilt while they're in the sheath? If so, then how are you holding and using that magical stave?

If so, then how are you holding and using that magical stave?[/quote'] I actually really like this as a potential RP justification for why you can't sheath a pair of cursed weapons and hold things - your weapon is sheathed, but your hand remains stuck to the hilt. Doesn't quite hold up since apparently you can use a held item while having a sheathed cursed weapon and a cursed shield on, but... at the very least, a number of smaller types of shields are strapped to the arm rather than held in the hand, so it works for some of them. f0xx
Gameplay > Realism No disarm weapons have drawbacks. If you want to put your sanc up fast, use herbs. Enough whining already.

Implementor Anume Posted March 19, 2012 Implementor Report Share Posted March 19, 2012 Some noremove weapons you need to sheath and draw AFTER you've already reduced your strength below the minimum to remove them. You can reduce your strength with talismans, oak rings, glass rings, etc. No need to pm anyone about this, I'll just say it plainly here.
