Im really blown away ive been around as long as i have dealing with the same things over and over again,i even thought about bringing back skwizgarr to assassinate everyone i hate and full- take all of it to thew middle of blood and drop one piece at a time. Atticus - take some time off to cool down. This is a game, and the last thing you want a game to be doing is ratcheting up your stress and anger levels. Most of us have felt the exact same way you do at some point or another, and we know it sucks when it feels like you are doing nothing but dying. Hopefully we'll see you back soon, but if not, take care. its not even dying man, i could care less i think i took like 10 deaths on em today. its thefulling the saccing from characters that dont need/near need the eq nor the pause for the player to get the eq to kill them again. I really used tolove this game, and for a while it was rivaling my addictions to weed coke and xanax. but now its like im shooting up lava with a bent and rusted needle when i get on. I just get mad, and then madder- i will be the first to say im too attached to my chars but I cant help that. I build something up that I like and then its stomped on, mocked, defiled,dishonored, and just because you want one lessWM. one less warrior, one less FG. well guess what, you lost one more player. Pali Posted March 21, 2012 Report Share Posted March 21, 2012 Keep in mind that any mockery may be entirely in-character, and does not necessarily reflect the other player's opinion of you as a player (and keep in mind that some people are simply dicks). Also, that anger/frustration is why I recommend taking a break and giving yourself time to cool off. I've felt it many times myself, and it always eventually fades. If you decide to give it another shot, I'd highly recommend playing a moderate so you don't need to worry about getting looted every death. Embros had one of the best attitudes I've seen - in spite of all the deaths and unnecessary full-loots. It's one thing if he was a Thulgan or Grylok, but the guy is OBVIOUSLY trying to learn the ropes of PK and PLAYERS not characters are making the decision to make his time miserable. Trick Posted March 21, 2012 Report Share Posted March 21, 2012 Kadrinath was a Moderate and was turned Ruthless then got Leader. Moderate isn't a hinderance, it's to help with the learning curve so you DON'T take full loots and eventually you won't need the blue flag, you'll go out guns blazing with a red. I think every player has a class that they are best with. They first learned to PK with that class and became successful with it, maybe you haven't found your class yet. Atticus Posted March 21, 2012 Author Report Share Posted March 21, 2012 I was trying to Learn with embros, and added the FGflame titan thing in it to better understand thepros and cons ofgiant races. also the same with weapon selection and general eq knowledge since warriors have all weaponsand such. what i did learn is if you play a fgwarrior, have saves. have some good damn saves. Trick Posted March 21, 2012 Report Share Posted March 21, 2012 FGs are hard because they have two easily accessible vulns. That being their mental vuln and ice vuln. You can have a hard time on both fronts, but that being said, if you can get up some momentum, you can be a real force. The hardest part about warriors is getting and KEEPING that equipment.
