Archbishop Monk
Yep, was a good run and was going to make it last, but that's all. It's not a rage delete, just an "I know what to look forward to" and after having already jumped the hurdles the class has to offer, losing what I lost will make it even that more difficult. But, I stuck it out for as long as I could even with all the pk hurdles and focused more on RP. Anyways, time to roll something else. Special thanks: Anume - Always a great Rp card and great for advice. Brehan - Eh, what can I say? Wish I had the motivation to keep going, but considering the role I had and what it required, I could quickly see myself getting more and more frustrated. Azini - I liked your RP and tried to help you on many different characters. Stick to it. Makron - Good luck and don't drink so much Bekael - never did get that chance to collect you, but you were far too quick on your feet. Veraz - Good end fight and much better than the first. Heh, I know you wanted to fight a psi, and I wanted to fight you, but I figured it would be the best way to go out. To any others I left out, sorry. And to state my reason again for deleting, roll an illithid psi and test a few things out. I'm sure you'll find they are not what you might think they are. edit: Sorry, forgot to post my score /---------------\/----------------------------------------------\ | Yriel || The Hand of SYNDICATE | \---------------/\----------------------------------------------/ | Str: 17(17)^7 || Level: 50 Sex: N Age : 5020(388h) | | Int: 25(25)^2 || Class: psionicist Ethos: chaotic | | Wis: 23(23) || Race : Ulith(illithid Align: evil | | Dex: 18(18)^1 || Hp : 1069/1069 Exp : 50760/644840 | | Con: 16(15) || Mana : 1486/1486 | \ Lck: [|||---] \/ Move : 428/428 +Hit: 6 +Dam: 9 / /---------------/\------------------/\--------------------------\ | ARMOR || SAVES || Deity : Anume | | Slash : -435 || Spell : -17 || Faith : Necropsy | | Pierce: -458 || Afflictive : -29 || Weight: 274/305 | | Blunt : -417 || Maledictive: -46 || Items : 31/35 | | Magic : -481 || Mental : -51 || Prac : 19 Train: 2 | | || || Gold : 7119 CP: 1.1k | \---------------\/------------------\/--------------------------/ / Condition: You are in the prime of your health. \ | You are ready for a cabal promotion. | | [sAVANT] forces are aiding your mind. | | \---------------------------------------------------------------/ Not my best stats, but I didn't save those I guess. sarcon
Wow!! No man!! Are you serious? That like.. really really sucks. So many plans I had for your Character and mine!!! WTF Honestly, probably the most organic character I have ever seen within FL. Every second, every moment your character was alive. I was confused as sh** with half the stuff you said sometimes.. but man I was having fun trying to figure it out. Absolutely amazing character, really can't wait to see what you have in-stored next. When you sent me that last Tell I had a feeling you were going to end the Character. Man.. that sucks. Really can't wait until your next character. Good luck. Nightmare_from_hell
Wow. That's all I have to say. Very well played toon and I'll definitely be looking forward to your next. Was hoping to question you a bit more in regards to your RP in game, but guess it won't happen now.
jibber
What I would have DONE to have an Illithid Psi (after playing a half-elf illusionist)!!! They've got so much potential, I'm almost afraid to ask what you lost that would make it that much harder for you to play and just drop the bucket. PM me if you want. -Totenkopf-
You've got no ideas mate. I played psis when every spell required memorizing. It was hard but I still managed to acquire kills on some big names. I was in tight negotiations with viri to effect some changes. Clerics and a couple of other classes were impossible to kill. I am at work on my ph at the moment but have a few other words to say. I see all these deletions cause someone died or things aren't easy for them. Killing people with philantees wasn't a walk in the park on most occassions though it don't think it is really cause vamps suck (though I do believe one thing that was tweaked needs untweaking) it is becaause 90% of people that play are quite frankly very good at this game. There aren't half as many walk in the park kills as the 'good ole days'

There aren't half as many walk in the park kills as the 'good ole days' Like I said in the beginning, this wasn't a delete because I died thread. I've played and died quite a few times, losing everything, only to come back again. Heureush died and lost everything several times over. Hell, Caesendara died and lost everything only to have to come back through all the magic-resist clerics and paladin's just gunning for her and in vendetta cabals. I fought through Anamus while I was trying to scrap together a decent set. You know some of the problems because you've played several of them. Absolutely no fight was a walk in the park. As I said, I had to work and work hard for most of my kills. Only a few times were they handed to me, and mostly through complete player error or lack of knowledge. It's not the dying that got to me. It's not even losing eq. It's the basic mechanics of the path. I'd probably have stuck it through with any other path, but given the minor complications of this path, I didn't see myself having fun anymore with it. edit: On another note, my first psi's were the same. Azuud was around when psi's first got that update, but I only got it about half-way through its lifespan. So this isn't a whine or complaint about dying, but an acknowledgement of frustration due to the mechanics of the path, not the class.
-Totenkopf-
Don't think I was pointing the finger at you in particular. It's just the general feel I get around here lately. I think the problem lies in that a few choice combos have a much higher power peak than the large majority.

Deck them out and you have not only a powerhouse offensively, but defensively as well. As to my condtion being well at the end there, I had two pdeaths and more mob deaths doing simple things than I cared to count. I'd love to go all out in fights and just duke it out until the end. Wasn't going to happen though with Yriel partly due to issues I can't discuss.
Enethier
So sad to see Yriel go. It was great fun, those few conversations we had. Losing the powerhouse behind Syndicate is going to suck really hard. Best of luck on your next. May it be everything you want and more.
