The o.p. asked for good whips, for GOODIES. I didn't realize goods could use the manticore's tail. If so, its definetly a good whip. But I don't consider the whip of fire a good whip, maybe decent for an offhand weapon depending who you're fighting.

Cat of nine tails, torture whip, and kelp whip are all anti-good, so they don't apply to the question asked.

For a good, if they can use the manticore's tail, I'd go for that or the whip of divine power, whip of fire situational, whip of magi is a good offhand weapon too, situational. I just prefer noremove/nodrop weapons, but even then, I'd rather have a discordant fiber over the whip of magi, if you're talking whips in general, but again, doesn't apply to this thread.

Comparetivly, the top whips are evil.

Also I guess in my head im thinking whips for like a whip warrior.

So Kelp + Tortue would be killer whip warrior combo, but for evil only.

Nothing simular for goodies. I see that alot.

Yea, thats what made me think goods couldn't use it, its been a while since I played a good that used a whip. Goods can indeed use the manticore's tail.

Edit: Its easy for an evil to get to avg 27 or better whips, alot harder for goodies to get avg 27, let alone, better whips. Manticore tail and divine power are the strongest choices, avg damage wise, but also, both are noremove, which makes them good choices imo. Granted some classes can't disarm you, there's plenty of classes that can, so I'd rather be prepared for them, like I would use the whip of fire in a pinch, but only long enough to get a better whip.

Edit 2: Thats kinda been the trade off, goodies have less top tier eq to work with, but alot of it they can request. And having the whole good align to help them get the ones they can't. Evils get a bit better eq, but the evils that are helping them, they also have to watch out for a backstab from them at some point.
