Trick
I've noticed it slowing down a bit. But I notice people who I've never seen before get caballed over people I've seen active as hell. I'm not sure HOW it works anymore. I just be active, try to get my name out there, and do some crazy **** for attention.
Insepiddeception
I've noticed it as well. I think its a combo of shelved chars holding slots, time zones, maybe some cabal immortals getting tugged by real life like we all experience. Trick I have noticed odd characters being caballed I have never seen but the whole time zone thing I think really changes how the game is played. Implementor Volgathras Posted August 23, 2012 Implementor Report Share Posted August 23, 2012 It depends on the cabal, the immortal, availability, and so on and so forth. To use myself as an example; Nexus has traditionally been a PK-heavy cabal, so when I took over I wanted to try and inject more RP in to it. Thus, when I see someone with solid RP I may give them a bit of a lead over the the applicants. Of course, PK ability is required as well. If a cabal is nearing its limit in members cabal imms may slow down promotions to ensure the best person for the job gets their shot. Also, when an imm logs on is also an issue, but a small one comparatively - we have other imms fill us in on the activity of players and regularly stat your pfiles for the information we need. Brehan
Also as meaningless as you ma thing they are do your clan quests. I wont even promote clannies unless they have done some so getting in would be a super huge thing if they get a chance.
Akoz
I do them, unless I don't know where to go for one, or I finally got a group to hunt.
Kyzarius
A rubric of requirements by cabal would help to dispel issues of stagnation. Or just bring back the days of auto promote. I find it very difficult to get promoted in certain cabals, as their imms are rarely on during my play time.
Implementor Volgathras Posted August 24, 2012 Implementor Report Share Posted August 24, 2012 Here are some (but not all) of the criteria I look at for Nexus candidates: - level 40 or above - at least some rp direction - a minimum number of clan points (no i wont tell you how many ) - at least one succesfull PK - a reasonable amount of hours played during the month These are required. There are other things to help or hinder, but I wont reveal those explicitly. It's easy if you think about the aims of Volgathras and its organization. Implementor Anume Posted August 26, 2012 Implementor Report Share Posted August 26, 2012 Unless a cabal is full (you can see that if you do a help cabal name, you get " ... is currently not accepting applications" at the end), you will usually get in if you keep trying unless your rp directly conflicts with the cabals or you irritate the cabal's imm to the amount that they do not let you in. For some cabals there are also special requirements (e.g. Tribunal, you should know the laws and the maxim) or requirements regarding general behavior (e.g. a Knight wannabe should follow the Knight code of behavior = the 7 Commandments you can find both in the Knight cabal and the Hope clanhall). Rping with both cabal memebers and - of course - cabal Imm also generally helps as well as doing clan quests.
