zenofokl
Is there a way to make the mud tell me when a tick is comming?
Implementor Volgathras Posted August 28, 2012 Implementor Report Share Posted August 28, 2012 I don't think gmud supports scripting like that. But I could be wrong. I hear zmud is good for that.
Insepiddeception
GMUD is very very basic. Triggers, Aliases and Macros mostly. I think the pbase predominantly uses Mush,Zmud and TinTin.
The-Nameless
Mattamue made alot of useful plugs for Mush, most notably a tick timer, and a targeting system that binds your PK macros to targets by typing target
Kyzarius
Tintin, or Wintin, is the best client you can get for programability.
Filth
Ohhhh ewwwww. Dude, don't use gMud. Even the free version of zMud is infinitely better. P.S. Kyzarius: Does Wintin have a better scripting language than zMud? I've never had any problems doing whatever I wanted to do on zMud. Do you know any of the differences between the two and why you would use it over zMud?
Kyzarius
zmud is tintin with a front end. The language for scripting is almost identical between the two clients. I would even go far to say that zmud was made using tintin.
Celerity
So why would you use it over zMUD?
Akoz
I used gMUD for 8 Years without someone helping you get another one setup, its a *****!
Kyzarius
So why would you use it over zMUD? Ya know, I really think the origional decision was based on the direct prompt in wintin vs the interfaced prompt in zmud. Then, of course, I have used wintin for 13 years to lol. zenofokl
ok i dld zmud so is there a way to make it tell me when a tick is coming?
Celerity
Impossible..nobody knows because it is random each tick. But you can approximate it to 6-8 rounds usually.
