TheKid
Has there been any sucessful Feral warriors before outside of warmaster that is? I am thinking of making one but I am not sure of their viability against say larger sized warriors? I have never had a warrior either so any advice on a good lore would be helpful for the smaller sized warrior.
tassinvegeta
I recommend shield lore. I sure wish I had it when I had Dinh. I see Warder or Reaver as arguably viable choices for medium sized warriors.
The-Nameless
I really think a feral feign warrior reaver could do amazing things.
TheKid
Well I would be neutral either stalker or warder. I am not even sure what feign does. Think I read something of wielding a sword offhand dagger and is supposed to be a unblockable shot though I am unsure if it is automatic or you have to key it in as if I am being bashed to death I am thinking it wouldnt work out to well if I had to key it in. Ghrundor
I remember a fairly successful feral warrior Syndicate that was whip mastery. Dont remember what I used to fight him with, but he generally kicked my arse all over the place. Meriazi I think was his name.
The-Nameless
Meriazi was a feral syndi whip warrior played by aulian.
Akoz
Meriazi was a feral syndi whip warrior played by aulian. Ok, now we know it's a lie. Aulian plays Druids.
Tantangel
Shield lore is nice but not the greatest. If most of your opponents are going to be melee who will be dual wielding weapons most of the time and/or shooting arrows then yes it's a very nice combo. Whip I believe would be nice for the same reason or if you're fighting opponents who dual wield or even use a shield. Exotic is great if you're fighting people with cursed weapons which is almost everyone. I never saw it really fail fighting a Warrior with that lore as my cursed weapons were always disarmed ridiculously easy. I could have gotten the last two mixed up as it's been a while since I read the help file on Warrior Lore though. Outside of those lores though I haven't really seen any others used so I couldn't tell you how useful they are. I would think the one that paralyzes your opponent could have its uses as it could potentially hurt your opponents abilities for casting and add in your ability to fury against Mages you might be pretty beastly. Unsure though and worth a shot if you're willing to give it a hand.
Celerity
Just to be clear of misinformation, weapon seize doesn't disarm cursed weapons. As a feral (or any non-giant for that matter), you'll want shield lore just to not be lagged to death by the first bigger melee that comes your way or outshot by fire arrows. Whip lore (weaponlock) isn't that effective against shield mastery either.
Tantangel
I could've swore it took cursed weapons. I do know it disarms and seizes all of my nodrop weapons though because all of mine were disarmed recently and I couldn't throw up my noremove cursed weapon to test it out as I was blinded and beat to death shortly after. Imoutgoodbye
At the risk of exposure to giant melees, I found that mantis maul + fury + mini haste of the feral makes for some overkill on caster/communers.
Aulian
Meriazi was a feral syndi whip warrior played by aulian. That was me Anyway: I think that a feral could be amazing as a Feign warrior. I have had a feign halfling warrior and he was a BEAST. I just couldnt be arsed playing the mud anymore otherwise I think he could of gone a long long way. If you want more information on feign I will be happy to let share it with you, however I think on the forums themselves its still non-revealable information. You'd do well with a feral whiplock but I think they are over rated. Whips are better on a giant sized warrior who can reliably lag you and absolutely mess with your ability to flee. L-A
I'm no gun warrior player - however, my last warrior was a lvl 50 duergar with staff mastery/spear expert + backcutter. Its a highly defensive build better used to beat up communers, however, I found enough staying power vs giant sized melee's (mainly a crusader) via a cursed staff and a steady supply of high damage arrows. It can take a long time to kill a defensive build like this on melee alone. The feral advantages of more attacks and more defense (via increased dodging) would be nice enhancements.
