Polk
Why does it seem like everyone rolls the same thing up all the time. I get an idea, cause we're short in some cabals, and go for a wannabe of certain cabal, and it seems like everyone else just followed right behind me and clearly pass me up in the ranking of things. Ofcourse I spend alot of time training pre40 so, who knows. Just makes me want to start all over again and shoot for a diff cabal wannabe, maybe something that already exists, hoping maybe that cabal would have died down some when I get there. Mattamue
Pick a cabal and play it. In power or out of it. Think of it like.. you didn't choose to be born at the right time to play FL, have a pc on your desk, and all that junk. Why would you tailor something like that for a character? Okay, I know it's a game and there's valid arguments for rolling with a declining cabal in mind, but I wouldn't let whatever 'status' discourage you from finishing an idea. HBwillie
I try to pick classes that are prevalent, but I shoot for cabals that don't have any of my combo. My theory is that people generally will not roll what there is a surplus of, and as I spend a lot of time pre-50 training, by the time I get up there, some will have died off. Calron
I'd say either go with Syndicate/Watcher/Tribunal if your looking for something thats not going to condeath you in a week, but still provide a challenge. Savants have nothing to do because WM are all but gone, Knight/Nexus seems to have a pretty nice balance going already.

Calron
I meant more in terms of numbers. Tribunal is still a very full cabal.
Boy Kid Wonder
I can tell you right now, Tribunal is going to have some problems. I saw 6 wanteds, 5 of them outlaw, and one Tribunal on. They are gonna need some reinforcments. Martineius was scary, he kept everything calm and peaceful. But when, no offense to the other tribbies, the main lawkeeper leaves all hell breaks loose. Now, I'm not saying eveyone run a join asap, but 1-2 wouldn't hurt. Warmaster needs it more though. Savant are dominating, Senrail can take'em, but not alone. Help'em out and get some WMs in there. I remember when there were like 3 blms, a warrior, senrail, and a dwarf zerk all in WM. Then there was Suunmar and Cylandas in Savant. Then suddenly all the Wm left and now its like..hrm...vacant. For anyone who may think wm is boring, think of it this way. Its probably the one cabal where you can go more pk than rp. Quite bluntly, pk is your rp. Not at all times, but it all pretty much revolves around competition and records. This doesn't mean that you can have all pk and no rp.
Zrothum
Nexus and Knight are far from balanced. Look how many Knights there are....look how many of them play practically ALL DAY. Now, look at how many Nexus there are. Look at how many can even keep up with people like Thandaeus, Tomas, and Tendrath in terms of hours. Questioner
True true, cyiak got demoted in game if you were there to see it. It seems watcher and syndicate will make a comeback if the tribs let them. I heard there was an awesome cabal war last night. Today there was messalantha, seraz, and vhorkus (an up and coming syndi) all on. Plus kronit, and some upcoming watcher clannies were logged. Seems that marty left a "vaccum" for chaos and war. Just the way he might have wanted it.
