Kyzarius
is it me, or is DVD the only one who uses %e... %e is a CRUCIAL prompt for any new player imo. Since it displays valid exits. This has been my prompt for a long long time. %n%P%C<%h/%Hhp %m/%Mm %v/%a>[%t]%e> <1000/1000hp 1000/1000m 400/7000>[8][Exits: N E S]> time>exits. short, sweet, to the point. Implementor Erelei Posted November 5, 2013 Implementor Report Share Posted November 5, 2013 I find this one pretty useful: %R - %r (%z/%t/%u/%s) %c
Trick
My prompt is garbage. I've been told by many players and staff alike that my prompt is too big and too much, but I've been staring at it for years so its too hard to change. Anything else makes it weird. [HP:1000/1000 MN:100/100 MV:100/100] <100000gold 1000xnt 6hour> If I am caballed and 50, I change the xnt to my cps.
Mister E
I have a %e in mine too. It is not found in help prompt so I had to guess and was glad when I saw it was available. The two best uses for %e are: 1) If you cannot see but aren't blind (aka no light) the valid exists show up in your prompt 2) If you are sleeping and spamming enter you will see a door open or a trap placed. Mmm Coffee
Never understood why people need to see the Max HP or Max mana in prompt.
Enethier
I like it on high hp characters. Gives a better feel for what kind of damage I'm taking than a percentage does, which helps me make better decisions.
Croyvern
I find this one pretty useful: %R - %r (%z/%t/%u/%s) %c Funny. But actually some useful information here. Maybe you should add %u and %s to the help prompt file.
