ulfurstolt
So I've been wanting to branch out from the typical race/class combo's I do. Was curious to see what everyone has tried and just doesn't work from any race/class combo! Ideas, suggestions welcome. ty ty ty
Evangelion
Gnome warrior is the only combo I can think of right off the bat that I think has zero potential.

I've Killed for Less
Gnome warrior is the only combo I can think of right off the bat that I think has zero potential. I remember a certain gnome warrior in Warmaster that actually did pretty well. I think any class/race has potential is you know what you're doing. I'd suggest you make a dwarf bard for Knight. Could be a lot of fun, and nobody ever makes them. IKFL

Stupido
Yah, It's a dwarf blademaster which is actually one of the most OP combos in the game and Thulgan two rounds em

The-Nameless
Werebeast zerk. The sweet bonuses you get as a werebeast are completely nullified by the structure of the berserker class.

I've Killed for Less
drow necromancer I dunno... I had a drow necro in Savant back when they had tesserect. I would talk to people untill they were sleeping, gate to them with my 3 zombies of traven, and it was a wrap. I think any class has a chance against any other class, if you know how to play them and are prepared. If you have a backpack with 150 nymph hearts in it, there is no reason anyone should kill you. Mindflayer
Drow necromancer still is horrible choice with the current necromancer setup. You can't touch ankhs and there's no way in hell you're going to solo the undead wight and get a glimmering staff without getting your charmies locked in the arena. Yes there are glowing orbs now for group sanctuary, but without a decent zombie army (by the way you can no longer have more than one type of zombie-no more 3 travens), good luck getting past goblin lieutenant to even think about that. Not to mention a drow has a very low hitpoint base. Drow necromancers make gnome warriors look attractive.
I've Killed for Less
Right' date=' but there are combos that are just plain bad. I think this could be done, if you know what you're doing with a thief.

F-3000
Last I checked, it's rather random whether your pet is stuck in there or not. Fancy addition is, that you might be pulling other people's charmies in.
Ayroduth
You could always leave your pets somewhere and go in the Arena alone if you can manage to kill the wight. But you can get the glowing orb or the rune of salvation. A nice stock pile of leaves from the Merchant is a good idea too.
Mindflayer
Good luck soloing the wight as a necromancer. I was able to do it a handful of times with my illithid leader of syndicate due to ONE cabal skill.
I've Killed for Less
I soloed the wight with my thief 5 times the other day. Most people told me it couldn't be done, but I did it with extreme ease. Only did it 5 times because he kept giving me gatestones.

Twinblades713
It's easy with a thief. Toe to toe probably.
F-3000
If it's easy with a thief, I must have done something utterly wrong then...
