The Forsaken
So I moved recently, and got new DSL set up. Supposedly 6 megs per second. At my old place, I was rocking 3. Regardless, every night around 6pm my connection slows to a CRAWL. I can't mud, check my email, and I can't even browse the forums. (This window took about 3 minutes to come up.) Any ideas or suggestions?

I've Killed for Less
Call your provider or complain. Or you can do what I do, and if you have a smartphone, use it as a mobile hotspot. I have unlimited 4g, and I use it for all of my internet needs. It's how I play at work all day. -Charles IKFL
f0xx
DSL? You kidding me right... Don't you guys have like 4G? [edit] Just read IKFL's post, oh man that's quite smart. I should do it too. Anyone know a good portable MUD program?
I've Killed for Less
If you mean a program to play from your phone, the best by far is called blowtorch. I use my laptop though, and connect through the mobile hotspot on my phone. If you have an android, but dont want to pay for the mobile hotspot, download a program called FoxFi. Its a free (no root needed) mobile hotspot. -Charles IKFL
Akoz
I prefer a direct phone connection with my phone plugged in using EasyTether Some droid phones need to be rooted to use FoxFi such as the Inc2 and yes... your area is more then likely VERY busy on the DSL end at those times. Hence why I have Comcast. The only options to get around the crawl in generally business class
