Hello gentle bears.

The intensity of life grows and wanes and nary requests our permission to take us where it wants us to go. That is, I don’t got enuf tiem to play FL no more.

Very enjoyable ‘experiment’. After my two year break from Quoap, I wanted to break back into FL with some sort of lower fantasy, humanized character like Mathicus was and sink in slowly. That’s essentially how it happened. Ridiculous fun at every turn, and a very natural character lifecycle. Since Game of Thrones has become popular, I’ve seen the narrative of FL under this particular staff being somehow more sophisticated, and pleasantly ‘muted’ in some cases. It isn’t all wild’n’crazy shenanigans and hyper-exotic-revenge stories. It’s a mixing pot of people being people, conflicts being conflicts, and mortality being mortality.

There was a point where Kyris was being politically pitted against another Crusader in Knight. That was the point where I kinda nodded my head at the screen and said, “Yes. This game has evolved.”

Got two jobs. One is full time. Moving soon. Bunch of crap, I wanna play, I did my best to live up to the big cabal “L” thing. Accomplished a LOT of reorganization with tomes, built a pretty good system for Trib’ laws for future Historians, etc. Stuck to the traditional “Airen-esque” Herald motivation as well. Easily the most neutral character I’ve ever managed to play.

Enjoy: http://www.ksavy.com/FL_Eril/eril_home.html

Few have seen that page. Great blob of content there. Will be sure to replicate it for future characters.

Thanks for making this game amazing, gentlemen, ladies. By far the most enjoyable character I’ve played in the last six years, in ANY medium on ANY platform.

Not deleting. Not ‘going away’ -- not by choice. But you deserve to know why I’m so absent, and that I will continue to be absent.

I don't have a list of character shout outs... I forgot to keep it. I essentially managed to talk to everyone in game though, as far as I can tell, so... umm...

You're all amazing. Thank you for such an amazing run, it was well worth my time and commitment, and I will certainly be back to play more when the barge of life stops tottering so violently.
