'tarako
'Since tis the season to buy new toys, I was wondering if anyone had any advice on a tablet? I'm leaning away from ipads, because, well, apple. But I'm not sure where to go from there. I like the samsung tablet. Thoughts?

My phone only has 16gb but I've never had issues with running out of storage space. Granted, a lot of that has to do with my 10TB home server and a VPN. Tantangel
Although it's a nice concept to have such a small thing for on the go sorts of things, until they come out with like a 500gb hard drive though I really only think of tablets as something that people who read a ton would use or for people who want to casually game on the go (read angry birds). Otherwise though my mom bought one last year and loved it for a little while, but quickly realized she got much more out of her laptop she got for Christmas the previous year. L-A
Specs say only 1gb of ram? Out of curiosity, what are you going to do with a tablet that will push more than 1GB of RAM? L-A

I'm surprised the Nexus doesn't have at least micro-SD or a full USB slot... L-A
