Brehen - Cigars

Hey, I work @ Things Remembered right now as an ASM and a guy comes in and needs a HUGE order of Cigar holders and Humidors engraved. Like 50+ total items and needs it in 24 hours. Manager looks at me and said it was up to me if I wanted to take the order because it could be me up all night working on it.

Needless to say I did it, but the point of the story is that he sent a box of cigars to my home. A box of Padron Family Reserve No. 45 Maduro. I haven't tried on yet but you said you were a cigar man and I heard they make decent cigars but I haven't tried one yet.

Any tips? I am not a cigar smoker at all lol

don't inhale it' date=' puff it.[/quote']

This.

I'm not a big cigar smoker myself. But you should NEVER light a cigar with anything but a wooden match. It really does help the flavor out a lot.

Turn and burn is my favorite way to smoke a cigar.

Also, a fedora and suit are things that should be worn while smoking a cigar. It also helps improve the experience.

Dang it....now I want a cigar......

Those are fairly nice cigars btw. The above wood match comment is an absolute fact. Honestly, my approach to cigars is to take it at your own pace. It was kind of like FL for me in a way. You try a few techniques and you learn what works for you. I definitely wanted to puke whole entire guts the first couple times. But I've started to get my technique down on the rare occasion I am in a situation to partake.

Very nice cigars. I've had one as a gift, but never bought them as they run about 225 for a box of 10 where I shop. As good as they are, I can't justify spending over 20 bucks on a cigar when I can get an Onyx or CaO2 for under 10.

Wooden matches are best, but to say NEVER is a bit out of touch. A good clean burning butane torch lighter can light a cigar just as well without an aftertaste.

Also don't feel pressured to finish one in a sitting. I've smoked a cigar over a weekend. It's a project' date=' not a chore. :D[/quote']

I seem to remember finishing one over the course of completely different weekends also. The second weekend tasted awful... worse than the swamps of Degobah...
