First fl characters

Questioner

Recommended Posts

Don't remember the name of my first character. I had millions of them when I first started playing, simply because this was my first MUD ever and I was new to everything. Movements, say, reply...I knew absolutely zero.

Sometime in 2.0 I got my first pinn and actually got cabaled with him.

Human Monk named Oniwa....Charim was still mortal leader back then and I constantly was like "am I doing good?!? guess what i did?! i took blah and blah area! Did I do good for you??"

Happen to remember me, Celerity?

Hey CruelEdict, been a long time since I seen that, so were you the Herald I grabbed for that or did you pull that from the forum or something? Caused me to review my old files, and found the corresponding note too:

Hail Mages,

As once before, I shall again. I must leave this realm, as I am

called forth, to the outer planes. I shall sail the mystic winds

toward my calling. But alas, I will return to check on things from time to time. To ensure our tower stands firm against the mundane forces who seek our destruction. To ensure our tower does not fall into darkness, but still maintains the spark of light.

I may not stay long, only to read the scrolls, or battle once or twice, depending on my need. But in my place, there is another. For you see, I have had a servant for many years now, my faithful earth golem. Upon my latest journey to the outer planes, I came upon a tome. Imagine my surprise, when I learned of what this tome described.

The ability to take part of oneself, infuse it with the vortex, and give life to another. In essence, the creation of life. Not as a death mage brings back an inanimate corpse, with no soul. Nor how a healer can restore what was once living. But the power to actually create life, the power of a god. I have used this power, and given part of myself freely, to bring life force and free will to my Earth Golem. He is now called Octamaton.

I have granted Octamaton with the free will to choose his own paths in life, with but a single caveat. I have placed an enchantment upon him to keep him from ever striking a known Savant. Feel safe in this ward for now, but be ware. If one of the tower ever harms him, the enchantment will be forever broken. So those of darkness, think twice before abusing him.

Let it be known, that if the tower is ever in my need. Octamaton will forever have the power to call upon me, where ever I may roam. So send a scroll to him, that he may call upon me, if in grave need. But trifle not, for my time is valueable. Do not call upon me for mere foolish reasons, or petty squabbles, for that I would be displeased.

Farewell, for now. May the vortex protect you and grant you powers beyond comprehension.

Lunima the Dancing Blade of Savant, Keeper of the Light.

That was me recording those happenings, I believe it was Tindal (the character). I have the entire log of it. Somehow, it has made it through multiple moves and many new computers.

First character was Akasha, human necromancer in 1.0. Got into Savant, tattoed by Mircea, and given a owner-only staff by Viri for description. It cast poison, and added to hit and mana. The Bone Staff, I believe, it was called. I learned how to and how not PK with this character. Got my butt handed to me many times by Grishnak.

My first char was a Faerie battlemage by the name of Jasper. Got to 50 and cabaled to savant when Lumina was leading. Managed to kill Kentry first or so day of being cabaled by some pure luck newbie fluke, then got booted out, outcasted and a horrible title because he was pissed and I was too scared to go fight him, I remember sitting somewhere damn far away starving to death and UC just shaking his head at me from the other computer. Heh heh, I came a long way since then, eh? :P

hehe' date=' we've all been there done that, when you're in the early teens you think you can get away with anything. Funny back then though when you first started I remember gettin red dragon gear with a mage and thought it was THE coolest armor in the game, Transfered it to a warrior, got bitched out by Sirant and that char denied. hehe those were the good ole days.[/quote']

Pure proof that the IMMs have it out for me.

I got banned when -I- did it.;)
