Mali
Women are the victims of employment inequalities, not the cause.
Akoz
If you think it is a one way street then there is nothing I can do to change your mind. I am not saying it's all anyone's fault but I think its both sides that need to change.
Mali
I think trying to understand the problem further through meaningful discourse and credible research is appropriate. One thing is clear: blaming women is misleading and ridiculous.
Akoz
I think trying to understand the problem further through meaningful discourse and credible research is appropriate. One thing is clear: blaming women is misleading and ridiculous. So is playing them as 100% victim. When woman truly want equality give it to them. Time to get drafted. Alimony? GONE Divorced? Sorry get a job. Custody? 50/50 SPLIT Child Support? BYE Chivalry? Sorry that's not equality.
Mali
No one gets drafted in the U.S. anymore. Wives often pay alimony to husbands, depending on income and context. The issue is circumvented completely in the case of a pre-nuptial agreement. Alimony law in the U.S. is not dependent on gender or sex. Many women and men continue their careers after a divorce. Child support and custody is also determined in the courts and may be awarded to the father. When woman truly want equality give it to them. Equality is a basic right and one that women deserve. The fact that you think women don't "truly" want equality is disrespectful and out of touch.
Akoz
We are talking LAWS now here? just because the LAWS are not gender dependent doesn't mean woman don't get MUCH better treatment in the courts. I think it's funny your calling ME out of touch. EDIT: But you seem to only see your side of the fence. Women are more likely to have legal and/or physical custody of their children after a divorce. 23 percent of homes are headed by single mothers while under five percent are headed by single fathers. 72 percent of the time, child custody is given to the mother and only nine percent is given to the husband. In the remaining percentages, both parents share custody. 79.5 percent of all custodial single mothers are working in some way. Nearly 50 percent work full time, year round. About 30 percent work part time or part of the year. 54 percent of custodial mothers are raising one child from an absent parent. About 46 percent are raising two or more children. 39 percent of custodial mothers who are single are 40 years of age or older. EDIT2: I am however done with the conversation. I have shown that I see both sides at fault and you just wish to claim 100% victim status and continue to insult me.
Mali
No need to get angry. My posts don't blame anyone. I simply illustrated the problem using data from the U.S. Census Bureau. You seem to be confusing several issues here.

Elrozin
The content of this thread long ago left any context and clarity for misogyny and video games. What is most disheartening is it was allowed to go on and personal attacks were perpetuated against real people. When someone is near and dear to someone else, it is common courtesy and humane to respect those who have had the ills of the world visited upon them. Has anyone, at any point in this thread, asked themselves why one would make something personal? Take some time to consider that. The answer does not always lie as a tactical advantage. No one is obligated to hide the pain or scars worn from the world. Ad Hominem be damned, this is a community that is a family. Taking the time to respect and support one another, even when disagreeing, should be necessary and the opinions of your fellow players should mean more than some TV game show. No bans will be given. Elrozin
As an aside, all topics are encouraged for discussion, but one must show better tact and taste than to simply dissolve into what this thread did.
