cezar2718
Is the new rare limits imposed causing the overall PB to fall? It seems the PB was running strong before the new imposed rare limits, I wonder if lowering these rare limits was a good idea? Perhaps this is just a coincidence that will show itself but I really think players like to go for the shiney's and with the availability lowered it makes one wonder if the PB is lowering as well. ....Just a thought is all... Deykari
I haven't really seen a drop in players. The only thing I've seen with lowering the rare limits, is that it has made the gap slightly larger between people with good EQ and people with baseline EQ. The people who are decked have that slightly bigger advantage over those who will struggle to get anything that's over baseline. That, and people seem quite reluctant to head anywhere for the elite EQ for fear that nothing/little will be there and that it will be a waste of time. I'm of the opinion that it will sort itself out over time, as the people who get decked get killed (as everyone eventually dies) and the EQ gets spread out again. I like it in one sense, that it makes EQ something you can't just take for advantage, but in another sense, I don't like how it weakens the melee side of things, especially if you're up against a decked melee. Definately not something that would make me want to stop playing. Dey
FatMike
I personnally have a problem with so little being around, but I'm just spoiled I guess. Not like my characters run around in great suits anyway but it would be nice if two of the three align specific staffs were in every once in a blue frickin moon. What needs to happen is take away the object slot on bounties if the amount of rares is going to stay reduced, I can see the bounty system taking up alot of them. Edit: It's actually all the outlaws that have come out of the woodwork now that Marty has gone. Take a look at them and I can guarantee most if not all of them are 95% decked out. Iyorvin
Well the high end areas like gear and discord/deso become more and more useless. On the other side though, most of the great items were unique or had only 1 of them max set anyway. Alot of other stuff you can get away with using non rares. ps - good for economy too Some guy paid 100k for a black heart the other day. FatMike
Made a run through Discord/Deso last night, think the four of us came out with half a dozen things, most of the mobs didn't have anything.
Iyorvin
6 things on a run is AWSOME. I wouldn't complain about that.
FatMike
You've been there during some pretty light times then if 6 things on a complete deso/descord run is awesome. Maybe 6 things out of Gear on a run is great, but d/d....nah
Chayesh
The new rare limits are actually what they should have been all along. They somehow got set insanely high (like sometimes as much as 5 or more of a "unique" item). We'll look at them and see what's up.
Raargant
Equip should be gotten through PK. That's how it always was, in the old days, and having good equipment has always been the hallmark of a skilled player. Like Chayesh said, the rare limits were set insanely high; equipment no longer became a factor of skill, but how much time you had to go 'grind' away and do runs. I'm glad to see the changes. Raargant
For the record, bountied items don't take up rare slots.
Chayesh
On another side note, please stop bountying people with BS equipment. I'm tired of killing off you people and getting friggin double plated leggings I can get by sneezing on Kesrick.
Psycho Child
Syndicate should go back to killing people who put up crap bounties.

But if you think that's bad...I've gotten elemental bracelets for a bounty before and mithril vests and crap.
