f0xx
It's been a while since I last logged in and since the forums are down, I will make an official farewell thread. Thanks to everyone for all the fun I've had during my long years of play. The last few months I've been playing PoE entirely and have completely lost interest over my beloved FL. I used to log in and idle at my cabal while playing PoE at the start, but after this happened: I decided it's time to let go. My last character was Yushiiro. I would also like to use the occasion to give MAJOR shout out to Maag. I've never seen someone show such dedication. Reminds me of the little lion. Also Tyrus - your achievement is even bigger, especially considering you are a newbie Well done. Bye. PS. I will still roam the forums, just the forums. Implementor Anume Posted April 5, 2013 Implementor Report Share Posted April 5, 2013 If you log in to be just idle it's probably time for a new character or a break. Whatever it will be, have a good time in the meantime.
jibber
I don't see how an Immortal pushing you to do something (nicely, I guess?) is a reason to leave. Did he reprimand you or just remind you that someone logged in that you should probably go fight? That's too bad. See you around.
f0xx
I don't see how an Immortal pushing you to do something (nicely' date=' I guess?) is a reason to leave.[/quote'] Wait wait, I never said I leave because of what the IMM told me What I meant is, that it helped me realise where my priorities in gaming lie and that it's not fair for the rest that I hold rares and cabal spot while logging in just to idle. Celerity
Five years ago, I used to really dislike you. It seemed that we couldn't agree on anything, almost like opposites. However, the last few years I couldn't help but notice how much we are alike, and these days, every time I read your posts, I find I agree with you more than any other single player. Losing a player of your caliber, experience, and dedication to our game is a huge blow. You are one of the pillars of our playerbase, an icon known for being a realist, sometimes to the chagrin of the staff and other players. You knew the rules and knew how to skim them, pointing out numerous flaws in their design without actually breaking them. I see this as a major asset to the game, one that may be irreplaceable. Nothing needs to be said of your PK ability, except that everybody knows you are one of the top players in the game's history. F0xx's post should be taken as an alarm by the staff. He was bored, just like I was with Anamus. We can't afford to lose players like him over such a problem. I really hope the staff is able to rally with the new IMPs and push out a lot of code and content to entice F0xx and other players back into the game and with luck, perhaps grab a few more new ones. That won't happen without going back into active development, something that, unfortunately, our game has really missed the ball on for the last ten years or so. Even core players have their limits. tassinvegeta
You know, the game might be more exciting if you try a few of the other dozens of possible combos out there
Ellwyn
I'd like to say a big thank you to you for all the help you have given me inside and outside of the game. And I don't consider myself so new anymore. Think i've been playing 1.5 years+ by now. I wish you the best of luck wherever you end up. I wish everyone I met was as nice as you. Enethier
Sorry to see you leave. Even just for the time that I've been playing, you have made huge impacts on the game. Thanks for everything you've done. Your characters were pretty boss and well played.
