Waterpark Today

So, for the first time this year I took my daughter to the water park in the city. It was DEAD, like no one there, so we got to go on the slides with no wait. She was too scared to go last year, but this year she went no problem. First few times we went alone, then she found a friend and we spent the day following them along, and I got to be that awkward creepy guy for a bit. Anyway, the other family ends up leaving and we go back to the slides, this time she wants me to go first and then she will come down and I will catch her. First couple times it went smooth, then she said she wanted to go down the slide you go down on a tube or a mat. I said ok, grabbed a mat and away we walked. She changed her mind as we got to the top, and said she was gonna go on the one slide up top. I was gonna say no but as I turned I slipped and went down the slide. So I hurried over, because the big slides have a separate exit point, and I wanted to make sure I caught her, because she can't swim yet. Well as I got ready, I hear her yell daddy and see her coming down the tube slide. Under a rope and about 20 feet away I MOVED. She went under and the life guard jumped in but I had already got her. Was kind of scary, but in the end she was ok and looking at the soaking wet life guard was pretty funny.
