Implementor Anume Posted July 10, 2013 Author Implementor Report Share Posted July 10, 2013 Btw, first one to create a fully fledged weapon in the demon pit will get a little something special. If you think you are the first, post on prayer please!

Iyorvin
That's if anyone figures out how to GET to the end of the demon pit. Xylth finished it with Dimbrik, but PSI can get in where most can not. I still have not normally figured out how to do it

Mindflayer
Some very nice changes here, especially barbarians being able to use glimmering staves. (I'd personally love to see the zombie bugs addressed-you know me and my nec romance)
Implementor Volgathras Posted July 11, 2013 Implementor Report Share Posted July 11, 2013 I dislike all these no-attack mobs The alternative for necessary quest-mobs could be making them attackable/undead dragon and adeptus love-child on cocaine strong, but I imagine people wouldn't be too pleased with the result. Aulian
-Ghregory in Miruvhor made non-combat (meaning you can no longer attack / kill him) -Feign warrior lore has been completely revamped (we may tweak this a bit yet). -Help feign and help weapon seize have been updated. WTF is happening with these three. I've only been gone for 7 months ffs
mya
-Bash, bodyslam, trample, and other lagging commands have a higher chance to fail when used in succession. (more than 4 times, the chance to hit the first four times has not been changed whatsoever) Is this affected by miss? If I miss 2 of 4 bodyslams in a row, will the fifth be affected? Implementor Erelei Posted July 18, 2013 Implementor Report Share Posted July 18, 2013 If you miss the skill, whether or not the lag check makes you miss it or not (ie, missing the first or second bash) it's reset back to the 1st bash.
J.Twendrist
Those lagging changes really screw over non giant bashes/bodyslams.
tassinvegeta
Those lagging changes really screw over non giant bashes/bodyslams. Or it gives non giant meleers an opportunity to explore other options. Depends on the way you want to see it I suppose.
J.Twendrist
I guess it depends on the class and the options available.
P_body
They aren't screwed over anymore than before. You could never lag effectively add s non giant melee. This just prevents some of the outliers from being so absurdly unstoppable. Still some things I find imba, and mages now don't have to fear prot shield dropping mid battle. But all in all I think it just causes pking to require more skill.

This just prevents some of the outliers from being so absurdly unstoppable. With Arthryn that was about the only way I could kill anyone. It was also one of the only ways to prevent the giants that I was fighting from bodyslamming/bashing me to death.
J.Twendrist
If the idea is to balance it, I would think having giant sized races miss more often after four, and smaller sizes miss after five or six lag attacks. Just my thinking anyway.

This change in no way makes prot shield falling mid-fight any less terrifying.
Implementor Erelei Posted July 19, 2013 Implementor Report Share Posted July 19, 2013 Who said casters with protection shield get bash protection? I'm not that mean, fellas. If they let it drop or forget it, they can be bashed as normal as it was before the change.
P_body
Referring specifically to demi sized clerics specifically, also related to bmgs. Usually takes my chars just over 8 rounds to finish em off after prot drops. Not that they get bash prot. Also seems my latest char lands lags skills less often in general, also less lag lands against me (on a 1st to third consecutive range). Maybe it's just my imagination though
