delfytheelfy
Looks like I may be going to E3 as a writer. I write for Amped BF2 Series and we are trailing to E3, w00t. Editorial ->> 10 Gallons of Red Bull, 0 Hours Sleep, 100% Dedication E3 is like preparing for finals in college. There's a whole lot of preparation and time involved, and at the end of it all the exam passes by in the blink of an eye. We've spent many weeks getting ready for E3. Getting into the press conferences, setting up appointments, and planning our show floor attack strategy. For one week, we will see the fruits of that labor, and it's our goal to deliver our best E3 coverage ever. We're still a growing publication, one with few financial resources and a team of dedicated volunteer writers who plan to give everything they can to the effort of providing you with nonstop coverage. For those of you who have been following the site, E3 2006 will mark our revitalization; the point in time when our editorial direction will curve toward a nontraditional and unique style. Many changes will happen to Amped IGO during and after E3 2006, so stick around for the ride. Now if you'll excuse me, I have to pack my bags. - Anthony Perez, Executive Editor Pre-E3 Hot Scoop Konami, Kojima Prepare Wii Title for E3 We were all shocked to see a recent press conference invitation from Kojima Productions prominently highlighting six words starting with the letters "RE" coated in red: "Return," "Rearm," "Regale," "Rebirth," "Respect," "Refine." Could this mean Kojima and company have something up their sleeves for the Revol...we mean Wii (we're still not used to the name either)? The invitation was postmarked April 26, just one day before the shocking Wii announcement and have led some to believe that even Konami was unaware of Nintendo's revelation. If we see anything this week, we'll definitely let you know. Guitar Hero II Tracks Revealed With E3 right around the corner there have been a number of noteworthy game announcements as of late. Perhaps one of the biggest, or at least one of the oh-my-God-isn't-this-sequal-gonna-rock, stories of the week was release of the tracklist for Guitar Hero II. We're gonna make you visit our site for the good news, but we'll give you a little teaser...Van Halen. F.E.A.R. Spreads to the Xbox 360 Vivendi also wet our appetite by finally confirming the rumor that F.E.A.R. is coming to the Xbox 360. Vivendi says the port will have additional multiplayer features to take advantage of Microsoft's Xbox Live service, and new single-player content will be incorporated to flesh out the game's campaign. We're hoping to get further details out of them at E3 regarding specific content, because let's face it, we all want to see a little more than a cut-and-paste port. MGS4 Videos And if all that goodness wasn't enough, we stumbled upon a pretty impressive real-time demonstration of Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots. We can only assume it's from Konami's official announcement event late last year and the video is unfortunately devoid of audio. We're hoping this is just a taste of what we, and in turn you, will see regarding MGS4 at E3. Luckily, there is a full English translation subtitle on the video so you won't miss a beat. Visit the MGS4 GameSpace to check it out.
