Mmm Coffee
MasterofPie - if I may suggest something: Go against the grain! Right now, there is an abundance of goods and neutrals. So much so that it is amazingly fun to play an evil (if you have decent survival skills). There are 2-3 cabals seriously lacking in numbers, one of those is all but dead. I suggest you try to breathe some life into one of those cabals....and do it with an evil character. And as far as full-looting goes, here is my 2 cents: If you can kill a fully decked char and not full loot, that shows 1 of 2 things. 1) You don't have the means to full loot or 2) You know you can kill them again regardless if they're still decked. When a ninja full loots after he/she assassinates someone, that's just crap. You didn't work for that kill, unless you consider patience and hiding "work". When an elf bard takes down an ogre ranger....he worked for that kill. Look at how many times Helmsley has been seen naked! And he RP's his arse off too! The people that left did so because they are bored or have pissed the IMMs/pbase off enough that they figure people don't want them around. When I started playing here, coming from AR, I was impressed at the amount of player interaction that went along with the heavy PK....but now it's like everyone needs a reason to PK. If that's the case, then healers and heralds should not be allowed to wear rares. PK puts rares into circulation, and having that full suit of (Glowing)(Humming)(Magic) is what drives a lot of people. To end this note, I don't agree with your reasons for deleting, but hey - it's your char and you did what you felt was warranted. Personally, I would have dusted it off, resuited (even better this time) and beat the ****e out of the char that broke you.

Iyorvin
And what is this load of cow dung about people leaving? One person has left. ONE person, and one person that NEEDED to take a break. He has a poli sci degree to obtain and isn't going to do it if he puts 1k hours into a game in 4 months.

crackwilly21
Either way, back to the main topic. I fail to see how an apsiring Nexus wannabe , isn't going to take out a storm warrior, because the RP isn't fitting. Thats my two cents.
Mmm Coffee
To emp newb How many of those are neutrals? My guess is probably most of them.
F-3000
Why asking a reason for a kill is bad RP? What if it's part of someone's RP? Besides, I often form my character's behavior towards the assailant depending on the answer. Is he just another insane darkling? Is he just interested of my shinies? Is he hunting my bounty? Is there possibly other RP-based reason why he's trying to kill my character? Actually, if the answer is not something too simple and/or common, it may flower nice RP. Ever thought of that option? Zavero
I don't believe it's bad role play to ask someone why they are TRYING to kill someone. Such as, if Bob goes after Rick, and Rick asks Bob why. "Why are you after me Bob?" Then I don't think it is bad role play. However, if Bob kills Rick, and then Rick asks Bob why. "Why did you kill me Bob?" Bob should reply, "Shut up Rick, YOUR DEAD." But that is based on the fact that we don't come back to life when we die. In this game, obviously, we do. But you're supposed to role play every life as if it were your only life. Am I wrong? SHOULD Rick know that Bob killed him, and ask him why? Someone tell me, because I am foggy about this.(Not being sarcastic.)
Isadora
It would be cute if someone died to another character, revived at his Temple as a ghost, and returned to his murderer to haunt him. Spooky, eh?
Raargant
Twenty four hours later, as he is screaming and moaning, he suddenly turns physical...and gets stabbed in the chest. But hey! That just means he gets to haunt for another 24 hours :-D

Yes, we need to RP as if the current life would be our last, but it doesn't mean that you need to ignore the death that just happened. You was revived by your god, so why you can't go and satisfy your curiosity that still exists? IMO, worst RP I could ever see would be something along the line "Hey, I just killed you, how you can be back?!" Resurrection is normality in Aabahran, dudes.
