f0xx
As much as I love seeing Ghrondor suffer, I think items lost to anomaly world shifts should be restored...

Ayroduth
Had my item made from vellum been gone, I would've been more angry. However, it just became my time to play and it was crash, crash, crash. Btw, I love you too Foxx.
mya
Hum.... I think that the problem are corpses. Items on persons only suffer if: - You have more than 4 rares in inventory. - You got something nice and didn't 'save' after you picked it up. Which is a very minor issue. On corpses I have an idea. We could have on death, the mud create a ticket/note with the corpses contents written on it and place it on the dead persons inventory. On the player getting something from his corpse the ticket would crumble. On the corpse naturally decaying into the pit, the ticket would also crumble. On the player quitting the ticket would also crumble. (unless you can have the mud affect the Pfile after the player has quited, when the corpse crumbles into the pit.) If the mud crashes, the player still have the ticket in his inventory, all he has to do is use a skill "refund" in order for the mud to transcribe the ticket into Vnumbers, and into his equipment. Perhaps it would be better to have the ticket be an invisible bag with a copy of the items inside. But I have no idea how this affects uniques and stuff.
