brsingrs back
it's been years... what's up guys? EDIT: I don't know if any of you remember me, (i lost the original brsingr account, but it's me) just an update on my life for anyone who cares.... i've been a hobo for the last three years, hopping freight trains and what not. went all along the east coast from florida to boston, and all along the southern border from florida to new mexico, spent some time in chicago and denver, just slumming it. got stuck in a routine in albuquerque for like a year and a half (6 months of that was on bull**** charges in county, it got dismissed, but i couldn't make bail, so.... yeah. i sat in jail). developed an IV drug habit (pretty much shooting everything). decided to get my **** straight, got clean and moved to dc, been clean for like 7 months now, job hunting, start school in the winter semester. i am paleo now, for those who don't know, it means i dont eat any legumes, any potatoes, anything made with or fed grains, no dairy, and no sugar or any manmade chemicals. for salt, sea salt only, and in extremely limited quantities. i don't drink anything but water and green tea. occassionally ill sweeten my tea with honey, but that's it as far as sweeteners go. lift a lot of weights and do a lot of biking now. all about self improvement. just had a flashback of this place, and all the good times i had here (flashbacks happen pretty often these days, with my brain repairing all the damage i did to it) thought i would drop in and say hi, maybe roll up a guy. f0xx
Welcome back. Glad to see you on the right track. Taking care for your health by paying attention to what you eat is the greatest gift you can make to your body. I am not a big fan of the paleo way of eating myself, since it seems too restrictive to me, but if you find you can stick to it, it's all good. I've been carefully watching my calorie balance for the whole summer, and managed to go from 82 kg to 71 kg (180 lbs to 156 lbs) in 4 months, eating low carb meals (Atkins, Keto, Opus diet, or however you wanna call it, they are basically the same thing). Lastly, I am glad we won't be reading any more of your crack stories Although you are a bit of a crazy head and it was sometimes highly entertaining reading them, it got old quickly. Hope you have the will to stay on the right track.

brsingrs back
@f0xx you would think it's restictive, but honestly, after like a week, i feel so much better, and i don't even want any of the stuff i'm not allowed to have. i make baked goods with almond flour and almond milk, so i still have bread, i'm lactose intolerant and had long ago switched to almond milk rather than dairy products, and i don't really like pasta. beans.... eh. i dont hate them, but i never really liked them either. my only thing is the sugar, so i eat a lot of fruit when i get cravings, and my only cheat is dried strawberries (they're dried in sugar) as far as weight loss, i lost three pounds in a week of sitting on my ***. i went biking like two day out of the week and stayed firmly planted in a recliner. i eat steak and guacamole and eggs and tons of fruit and nuts and berries etc all day. don't watch my calorie intake at all just what kind of stuff i eat, and weight is melting off me like butter. @dale i remember you too. your avatar was the background on my desktop for a really long time. could have sworn it used to be longer. @kyzarius thanks for the welcome @valek I just might.... i just might. how have you guys been? EDIT: @clavo do you know what prisoners in new mexico call the stash of drugs they brought in their *******? they call it clavo just a fun fact. please don't take offense, i just remembered that and thought it was worth sharing.
