Implementor Volgathras Posted October 21, 2013 Implementor Report Share Posted October 21, 2013 Some news. First, players now have the ability to craft hand-written notes. [ 5] IMP Volgathras: Hand-written notes. Mon Oct 21 10:50:56 2013 To: All People of Aabahran Hello again Aabahran, As suggested by our plyers, we have, along with languages, implemented a system of hand-written notes. By holding a paper (this paper will be made available at vendors) and type 'write' you can write a note. This also supports the language system, meaning you can write in any language you're proficient in. The syntax is as follows: write edit (This will open a note editor. Editor commands are unchanged.) write draft And there you have a freshly penned note to share with friends and enemies! You are also able to seal these notes, keeping them from prying eyes using the 'seal' and 'unseal' commands. We hope you enjoy our latest addition. FL Staff Each cabal has it's own unique stationary, and paper can also be bought from several vendors in the three major cities. Helpfiles are forthcoming, but for now; - 'write edit ' puts you in to the note editor. - 'write draft' will put pen to paper when you've finished with the editor - 'seal' seals the note so only your intended target can read it. - 'unseal' unseals the note. You can only write notes in another language if you have mastered that language. ====================================================== [ 6] IMP Volgathras: Language Trainers Mon Oct 21 13:05:32 2013 To: All of Aabahran Fellow linguists, There are now trainers for most languages throughout the lands. Some are more shy than others, so you may need to search for the rarer dialects - but they exist. Simply approach whoever it is you feel can teach you, and type 'learn '. If you have the funds, and the learning sessions, they will help you. In addition, there is a special, universal trainer who wanders the wilds. If you fidn him, he can teach you nearly any language. In the future, he may also be convinced to give you more learning sessions, for a price. Each language now has a specific trainer. These trainers are different from your normal, physical ability trainers like Himmah or your guild leaders. Some are obvious, others you will need to search to find. Also, not all languages have a trainer. In addition, there is a universal trainer who travels the lands. His wanderlust causes him to travel continuously, so he is never in the same place twice. For a price, the trainer can increase your learning sessions, and facilitate further linguistic mastery.
