Zrothum
Just got done watching the US DVD of Advent Children and it's extra footage. The movie was good, although I had already seen it's japanese version...what I am interested in now is..... Crisis Core! I can't believe they are making a back-story game that will tie all the loose ends between Zack, Cloud, and Sephiroth....I can't wait. Yay
Talcian
That movie looked beautiful. If only if my characters could hold a massive sword like that in a single hand

Talcian
True, but a giant can't have the coolness factor that cloud can- with that bike and all
Iyorvin
Man FF7 is my favorite game, and that movie was just PIMP! ORGY for the win. And the way they tie that plot together will be SICK. Enix pwns video games.
Talcian
Is it true that they are going to remake FF7? I've heard yes, and I've heard no. But I haven't really looked into it myself.
Zrothum
Square Enix has not said YES, nor have they said NO... from a business perspective....I think they will, for the PS3. The demand for the remake is OUTRAGEOUS and will msot likely be the top selling video game of all time, if they were to make it.
Iyorvin
Yes.........I would buy the PS3 just for the game. OMG, but they need to raise the timer counter, I maxes out at 999 hours and 99 minutes.
Acerbity
You mean 59 minutes?

OMG' date=' but they need to raise the timer counter, I maxes out at 999 hours and 99 minutes.[/quote'] I bought the original Playstation just for FF7, and the time counter goes up to 99 hours 59 minutes, don't question it I am FF7 GOD. The movie was hot...the voice acting could've been a little bit better for some characters...though others were dead on. It's beautiful of course and while it did supply me with the fix I was looking for...it still left a few questions from the game unaswered(I was hoping it to fill in all the gaps...but it really didn't). Oh well the other few games their making will probably do that for me...Dirge of Cerberus FTW.
Iyorvin
WTF. Hell no it goes to 999 hours and 59 minutes.

MeleeCrazy
nah let's not argue about something I'm totally right about OK... It doesn't go over 100 hours...now FF10 does....but that is different
Iyorvin
Lmao bro. I had an ultimate summon materia, magic materia AND command materia for any three characters I used. Had the ultimate limit break for all my characters, they were ALL lvl 99, and for some stupid reason I grinded in the sunken airship morphing the creeps into stat potions. Don't ask me why, but I was addicted to that game beyond belief, and my game went up to 999 hours and 59 minutes. I had the origional ff7, not the gay casing they came out with afterwords. MeleeCrazy
ok, now i know there are diehard fans out there just like me...and yes i did all that crap you were talking bout...ever get all your stats to 255...all levels to 99, and a master materia set for all 8 characters at the end of the game...plus one extra cus at the time you didn't know if that rumor about getting aeris back to life was true or not, then add in how hard it was to get all four enemy skills mastered cus Trine was so hard to get, i playted over and over, and over...and in fact recently even me and dale played again just to rekindle those fond memories of middle school euphoria, the time counter DOESN"T AND NEVER HAS GONE PASSED 99:59, with either the original release, or the greatest hits version. Come on now...somone who actually knows what they are talking about come in and tell these guys what's up.. I'm looking at you Dale.....or zrothum...doesn't matter which.. Iyorvin
Lmao, nice bro. 255 for all characters or just cloud? And that stupid Aeris rumor had me going for about three months. If Square would of opened FF7 as an MMORPG..........sorry FL but I'd have been gone! Trine wasn't that hard to get either btw .

It doesn't go over 100 hours...now FF10 does....but that is different I think I may have been mistaken, after checking a few FF sources it appears everyone has said their timer has not gone over 99:59. Iyorvin
Just me, or does that not seem right though? I have not played in a couple years though, so I shouldn't be too stubborn about it.
Deykari
Yea, doesn't seem right to me either. There was just absolutely tons to do in that game. When I played it, it was the first real game I ever played (other games being sonic and mario) so I really sucked the big one and progressed quite slowly. I also didn't max any char levels, didn't go out of my way to get any chocobos, special materia etc. etc., didn't go to any out-of-the-way places or do any real side quests. And I'm sure I got over 100 hours on the clock even then. I could always be mistaken, because it was a long time ago for me too. Dey
MeleeCrazy
no it wasn't hard to get but if you used yuffie's sidequest too early you wouldn't be able to get it on all four enemy skills...had to wait till disk three to do that sidequest...then you would have them all..and yes all characters stats, i don't play around with FF...if the game wasn't perfect i had to play it over...and yeah the rumor only had me for a bit...but it was always so tempting to go try...especially when there was nothing else to do but see the ending again. Oh on a side note...FF10's sphere grid was equally as hard to complete with all characters as getting max stats with every character in FF7. the plus bout 10 was the whole getting 99,999 hp and 9999 mp oh and I wasn't trying to be a dick bout it...it's just I replayed it recently...and it has always bothered me that the clock didn't go any further
Zrothum
I am the FF series deity. Now be quiet. The timer stops at 99:59. With gameshark you could get aeris and sephiroth as playable chars
MeleeCrazy
yes you could but enter into any FMV or critical story points and the game would freeze with sephiroth on yer team. Aeris however worked even till the end. I hate using gameshark, takes the fun out of it.
