The-Nameless
So Magic's PTQ season (pro tournament qualifier) is coming to a close, and I am gonna have more free time since I will no longer be grinding star city east coast MTG events I will be returning to FL in a triumphant (?) blaze of glory (read pile of corpses) so I am curious what cabals look good, what looks slim, who could use a psi or zerk in their ranks
Ayroduth
Well, there are 2 Knight Crusaders and a Tribunal Crusader. So, evils could use some help. As far as cabal numbers, I am unaware.
Spark215
On the contrary, Nexus has some very active members that are giving the Knights a hard time. Knight no longer holds most of the land and is, in general, losing the PK side of things. Savant is struggling, Syndicate is struggling, Tribunal and Watcher are pretty even (PK-wise) though Tribunal has recently taken the advantage, I'd say. I would do a Knight (they need a strong one to combat the -very- active Nexus) a Nexus (with another active they would easily have all of Knight land), Syndi, Watcher, or Savant. A Merchant would be nice too Oh to hell with it, FG Anger Gladiator.
The-Nameless
hrm, Knight is on the downswing you say eh. It might be time for me to dig into my bag of OP tricks.
Enethier
Savant and syndi are hurting much worse than knight. Warmaster is flooded recently. Nexus is strong, but not overbearingly so and seem to be ahead more because of availability. Tribunal is on the upswing. Watcher will need help soon. Ayroduth
Knight is not on the downside. That have some very tough opponents as Nexus does. Warmaster has recently gained a few members, Savant hasnt appeared to be very active lately (from what I've seen). Not sure how many Watchers there are, but Tribunal is up on a rise. Syndicates numbers arent known either. But as far as good and evil. I'd say evil needs a bit more help than good right now.
ledgerbay
i would say savant needs the most help, and watcher close second.
Spark215
Again, Knight is doing decent, Nexus is doing decent. Nexus is more active (like I said). Another skilled, active player on either side would change things. I would personally roll a Syndi, Savant, or Watcher. Then, I usually don't do blue vs. red. The-Nameless
Heh. Yea. There are two main sponsors for these big tournaments, Star city games, and TCGplayer. Star city is bigger, but TCG runs state championships. Star city sponsors pro tour, and if you win a PTQ you get a free plane ticket (last one was dublin, next one is Valencia) My last tournament (saturday) I placed 28th (out of 524) for a cash out of 100. My buddy dennis hit 8th, and our other playtest guy hit 24th. dennis got 400, me and belfatto both got 100.
