Rilithin Corimak :)

Wellp, congrats to Repai that made my decision even easier. 2 - 2 we went, he fulled twice, me once :P. Losing my weapons (the E'gal is a dangerous place, lol) was just the icing on the proverbial cake. This has been coming for a very, very long time and, for the fact that I'll be stepping away from the game (adding preventative measures such as deleting alias lists/info/logs/clients) for what I hope is at least a few years, I'll let loose on the issues I had while playing Rilithin/Kripffip. Firstly, where is RP? The ONLY RP I got was from allies. I fought the best of them, ran when I had to, fought when I could. Yet - trash talk prevailed from the "vets" at the time. The progression went from "you're going to fail like all of your predecessors" quickly to "you refuse to fight" then onto "you're a cheater/immortal/*******/**** you/no one likes you/no one respects you/blah, blah, blah." I can name all of the enemies I enjoyed fighting against and I will:

Thulgan - FIRST AND FOREMOST. We had stalemates. We TALKED. You, sir, were my FAVORITE enemy. By far. Whether it was Kripffip trying to get a kangaroo or Rilithin trying to save you from the tortured memories of your brother, you, sir, are a ****ing genius and I only wish you were around more.

Torpol - Holy balls. I didn't even know. My interactions with you before hand were seldom and quiet, but with Rilithin we really started talking and Rilithin pitied you. He hated that you had to do what you had to do. Thanks for showing me the brief bit you could as enemies.

Aithne - You, sir, quit way too early. Our conversations were fantastic.

Iritosul - Kind of fell of the wagon there, but your take on evil was something I loved. We talked at first, about how you hated what you had to do.. you were disgusted by the fact that you did these things, but you couldn't seem to stop. Loved every second, until you kill Persephniee and made me your mortal enemy :P

Now, Rilithin was a support character. The reason I rolled him quickly died down when the Corimak plot stalled - Drksthyre grew stale, Caomhnoiri grew stale. As I got ZERO RP from my enemies, I was relying on those plots to give me joy while playing. I cannot properly convey the utter TRASH I got with Kripffip/Rilitihin. Kripffip, I can almost understand.. Rilithin? He was my FIRST CRUSADER (save a small stint back a few years ago that I hardly remember). I came in with a FRESH template and made educated guesses on what to pick. It turned out amazing and I had a blast - but it took me A LOT OF HOURS TO GET TO THE POWER PEAK. RILITHIN HAD AROUND 550 HOURS. So for all of you haters, kiss my ***, I put in the effort to get where I was and ran like a mother****ing champion. There were PLENTY of occasions where I could have easily died if some of you would have chased better, but alas, you need to learn where Gualorium is. Instead of learning.. fighting... getting better, you chose to bitch at me and call me names. Something I will remember every time I try to roll another character with this pbase, those of you who choose to silent PK/talk trash because YOU ARE ACTUALLY HAVING A CHALLENGE are to blame for my complete bitterness towards this game right now, and trust me, I have the logs to the complete bull**** I experienced. Onto a happier note. The ONLY REASON RILITHIN STUCK WITH IT THIS LONG:

SYLF mother****ing STARKHOLM

If Rilithin had a lover, it was Sylf. Rilithin was IN LOVE with you. I didn't make Rilithin as a homosexual, and it may have never gone that far, but all Rilithin wanted, in the end, was to sit by a fire with Sylf on his shoulder. If there was someone who understood Rilithin better than he and Ilthrias, it was Sylf. Sylf was the REASON I logged on for the last two months - period. And I expect you to see this through, my friend. I cannot convey how relieving you were in the times you saw me get **** talked into almost quitting. After all, it's what they want. Well, here you are you can go back to full looting those who are obviously below you in the PK scale. Congratulations, you lose at communities.

Shout-outs:

Vaerick - Thank you. From day one we had spectacular RP. I almost cried (having lost my father when I was 13) when you showed me where Garacci killed Ryvin.. his blood still staining the ground. It was the most emotional moment I have ever had on FL.

Morlhach - You let me meet God. That was, hands down, the coolest experience ever. From Primusoach to Rilithin - Breakers to Werebeast changes, you are the best thing to happen to the coding staff of FL. I hope to come back, one day, with complete anonymity, only to enjoy the mind blowing things I know will come.

Ordaran/Grimulfr - Your confusing sessions make me work my brain and I love it :) I'll never forget becoming a vampire, that was spectacular.

That is all I can think of for now - on that note, I will be deleting my client/FL information but will continue to sporadically troll the forums. Good day to all of those who made it fun. :)

EDIT: TO MAKE IT CLEAR, WHEN I SAY THE ONLY RP I GOT, IT IS IN REFERENCE TO CABAL WARFARE (ALLIES/ENEMIES). HONORABLE MENTIONS ARE THERE AND I'M SURE I FORGOT SOME, BUT NOT MANY. THERE WERE PLENTY OF PLOT/UNRELATED EXPERIENCES THAT I LOVED AND WILL REMEMBER FOREVER.

More names that come to mind:

Laelanis

Ilivnolu

Agege - Hated to love you :P

Aeroin - Really sad you went

Courael

Mordicai - You got caught lying to me, the tension between us was on you

Urist

Romlious - Loved the relationship

Surreptulant - Had some great conversations early on

Zenamith

TALRON! Man, you, sir, were so awesome. I hate that you disappeared.

EDIT 2: I don't mean to suggest that I expect interaction with EVERY SINGLE FIGHT. There is a time and place to talk or not to. That being said, the interaction shared, should be IC and not filled with hate. That is what I mean by no RP. Silence is not always bad - you must, sometimes, SEEK out the RP from your opponent. Show initiative. Spewing vitriol is not an acceptable, in my opinion, form of interaction that can be judged positively. You only say negative things, you only get negative responses.

The ONLY rp you got was from allies? That cuts me deep, man... real deep.

Other than that, I really enjoyed Rilithin, and hope that you never took anything Laelanis said or did to heart. She is a character very different than myself, and her words to you were born from a combination of her race, her religion, her place in society, and what she felt she needed to say at a given time to guide you in a particular direction or response that would ultimately be profitable for her.

Still, I believe that both Kripffip and Rilithin were very well played and deserve massive props. It's disheartening to see you leave, especially given the circumstances, and really hope it is far more temporary than you say. I enjoy seeing players with such great skill in PK also be some of the most fun RP experiences. In both the game (whenever you do decide to play again, if ever) and in life, I wish you the best of luck.

Let me just say that between rilithin and sylf, NOONE has helped me more with several characters, from failed BLM velknar to bouldis, to my most recent. helped me earlier today! I personally will miss the char and the player, PLEASE return soon, the pbase needs players like you.

I loved helping you, Ledger. Velknar was my favorite Knight that left too early - you learned the inner workings of Army Warfare so fast, and I'm sorry you had to suffer the **** that came to you because of Sylf and I. Our enemies were relentless and made everyone pay for it. I'm sure what you bring next will be fantastic.

I fought Rilithin only once and I already told you who I played, so I am rather neutral towards your character. We did have some RP going, nothing major, but you can't expect everyone to spit big RP at you whenever you say "hi".

Other than that, I know many people feared (and hated) you, which was quite a surprise for me. You weren't *that* strong, IMO. A good character non the less.

IMPORTANT: If you ever feel the urge to roll something, feel free to drop me a PM and I'll hook you up with a free copy of zMUD and my own triggers, macros and aliases.

Great character - we interacted quite a bit. I'll just say that you might get more RP from your enemies if you, perhaps, attempt to put yourself in their shoes and realize what they are...rather than resorting to the same "whining/complaining/etc" responses Rilithin so often dished out. Once the conversation goes down that route, nobody wants to invest.

Ooc hate: Wow this is very surprising. I thought you were a great character, perhaps could've been epic, but that is usually dependent upon those around you enemy and ally alike as well as Imm interaction. The ooc hate happens and its how the pb deals with certain things. If I let it get to me than I wouldn't still be playing here. Heck I'm sure the Immortals wouldn't be here either. You have to learn to deal with it and channel it in a positive way in order to continue enjoying your time here and getting past it. Unfortunately some are more susceptible to it than others. And when you take a step back and realize you let others get to you, who really won?

On the note of RP: Its great when RP events and even short sessions and tells is given and returned in and out of battle. But everyone is on there own agenda. Everyone is out to enforce there own rp. Some come to FL with much less emphasize on RP. Some just simply have sessions where they may have had a bad day (wink wink) and don't feel like it at that time. They shouldn't be held against it and we as veteran players should help and encourage the others to grow in that area. I'm still working on it myself.

Our characters became allies and I thought we had an always developing relationship that could've went much further with more effort on each of our parts. I rarely do this, but my points may have more weight to them if I reveal that I play Agege.

You killed Kripffip to early. He should have lasted a lot more.

But I can understand that with the new physical vuln thing. And neutrals limited enemies.

Rilithin was a pain. Interesting RP, but being very aggressive limits your RP.

As Enethier told me, people won't interact with you if they fear you will attack them.

I liked Rilithin across a multitude of characters to include Courael, which was my BEST experience with him. I can see both sides of the fence and can understand the situations, but that doesn't mean people should fall apart and not RP or be disrespectful just because. THAT being said, Tassin is right. Letting that get to you is dumb.

Side note: I can not ****ING wait for this Corimak crap to be OVER AND DONE WITH! This plot has been dragging out so long and over so many characters that I've basically lost all interest in it. It was extremely awesome when it was taking off and was full steam ahead, but now its kinda puttering out and people are losing focus on it. We need it spiced up and finished up. IMHO.

Oh man... :(

RILITHIN mother****ing CORIMAK

Dude, this sucks so hard. You were the best thing to happen

to "Sir Sylf" hands down. So many hours spent together tearing

**** up or joking around. SO many hours doing army warfare.

Rilithin was hands down the BEST character I've EVER interacted

with. The experiences between Sylf and Rilithin were the most

immersed I've EVER been in RP. I had never had so much fun on

FL, even just sitting there RP'ing two broken down generals,

telling jokes and watching you rub your hand over your face in

exhaustion. The times we got drunk, amazing! I hope things

work out for you man. This is going to be a hard blow IG to

SO MANY THINGS, but I definitely understand, when its time to

go, its time to go.

I interacted with you alot across 2 characters rauculant and galinor. when galinor was an incoker we taalked as much as I could muster when I got psi it was the same you kept ties even when I remorted and I was grateful my last psi lost all his rp due to being lvl1 again and people not interacting with a lowbie. on rauculant tho as soon as i went demon and herald even tho the factions were allies you treated me like an enemy. you refused to discuss anything without talking to dilorry or your twin almost to the point I couldnt ask you about the weather. and interaxtions like that led to my quitting that character. it wasnt just you but you were guilty of it as well. I loved the character and hope you dont really quit but I do think you are making some broad generalizations about the entire pbase. good luck in life man. hope you come back.

forgive any typos im on my phone.

I don't see how some characters having that last name affects you adversely. I mean, if you don't like it don't be apart of it, but you don't have to put people down. Especially on a delete post for someone part of said plot. Seems like kind of a dick move. Just IMHO

Never said the last name is affecting me. Relax bro. What I said is this plot is dragging out and its stale. Neither character has any idea what to do for a LONG time. I've been involved in it across a few characters and the Corimaks had no idea what was going on themselves. Its a great plot and its been a lot of fun, but its time to wrap it up and finish the story. Don't get all butthurt because its stale. Its not an insult, its criticism.
