1. I am perfectly calm and relaxed. You saying something is not going to make me mad because I don't particularly care what you say or what your opinion is.

2.Your post most certainly was insulting, and saying it's "criticism" is not a cover for an attack on everyone who was involved with that rp. If you don't want to be involved great, leave us alone. It is highly insulting for you to post about how you can't wait for it to be over, etc- The characters are NOT a plot in and of themselves. The goals of the family and the directions of the Caomhnoiri IS the plot part. Like previously stated, you don't have to be apart of it, but I fail to see why you need to go put down other people just because YOU don't like it. Well what you like and dislike isn't my problem nor is it my concern.

3. They can simply exist and be legit characters. At least we tried to create something and bring life to the game. Most characters these days are pathetic, one-shot, wanna be power-pk combos heh. At least with us RP was an important factor, and just because some of us haven't had as much time lately to play as others doesn't mean you need to get up and say anything since because.... da da da daaaa you aren't involved, it isn't your problem, so just keep your ears and eyes open and your mouth shut. I don't come here and disregard the ideas you've had that I personally think are stupid, I let it be. But whatevs.

4. I'm done with this, you can say whatever you want- that's the great thing about the internet, but when you say things you can either put people down or you can lift them up and encourage them. Clearly you're the type of person that likes to put people down. You can say "Naw man, I'm just tryin' to help derrr I'm not trying to be a dick derrr" but I think maybe you should consider how many people have been run off lately because of other people acting like asshats and then consider how long its going to take to run off the rest.

Let's take it a breather here. Personally I'm sad to see Spark go, and Rilithin as well. I was on both sides of the coin with Rilithin, being a quasi-friend, odd friend of sorts, and enemies.

But let's not allow that to get our tempers up. I like the political plots of the Corimaks (can never spell the name right). It has stalled, we all know it, but that doesn't mean it's a bad or boring. I WOULD like to see it progress again. But that just takes time, as with any good story.

But let's not degrade this into something other than what it should be--A commemoration of a great character.

Rilithin will be missed. Spark215, don't stay away too long. There are plenty of good players with a desire for RP. Some of them, me included, sometimes just need a little help getting it started. I think you do an excellent job at that, so we're always open for your input.

Why is everyone freaking out so hard over people's opinions? Not everyone is required to share anyone's belief of how amazing someone is. If someone thinks a plot is dragging on, they are entitled to voice that opinion, but going on all out verbal assaults against them specifically for voicing their opinion seems a bit over the top. You one of the same people who boycots duck dynasty because phil voiced his OPINION on homosexuality? Right or wrong, we are all entitled to voicing our opinions without that opinion being oppressed.

I don't normally comment on these things but figured I would throw my two cents in.

I have had the pleasure of knowing Spark on non-FL basis and hes a great human being.

As a player I mirror what I said above, even when I was Aithne and struggling we had great rp throughout and even was given tips on how to better fight Rilithin, by Rilithin. That to me by a long shot isn't some shady power pk machine, he wanted to enrich both our games.

When he felt attacked and vanished, I felt slighted losing a great chatmate.

Looks like its happened again.

If you can't see how what was said (I can not ****ING wait for this Corimak crap to be OVER AND DONE WITH! amongst other things) was different from a simple, "Hey man, the plot is kinda dragging on and could use some spicing up or some conclusion" then I don't know what to tell you. I've dealt with dbags going ooc IG and spewing all kinds of hateful bs (the gods saved you, you're op, you're a waste and worthless to the game, your rp sucks, you don't rp, the gods have made you more than you should be). I don't particularly care to take it on the forums too.

I am sick and tired of it. Rilithin took the brunt of it and now he's gone, and I am tired of freaking losing players and characters because some people think its just fine to be an asshat and think that they should be immune from any criticism because its "their opinion". By your statement everyone is allowed an opinion (something I even said myself and agreed with). This does NOT mean I have to like, agree with or even be amicable with some jerk putting people down.

Well my opinion is that what was said here is a minute fraction of the amount of bs that has been tolerated thus far, and I don't particularly care to humor it any further. I don't particularly like discussing my characters while I am playing them, but since I was Ryvin and am clearly not Rilithin I obviously must be Ilthrias. That said, don't worry about any more "Corimak Crap" or anything else because I'll be taking a break myself when this character is concluded. I sat there time and time again and told Ryan to ignore the bs, to let it go and to be better than it, but he's right. It weighs down and makes everything less fun to the point it's worthless.

If you want to win by defeating the player rather than the character, feel free to use those tactics, but thus far all that's solved is to send all our best packing, and leaving only the few poor bastards who want to play and rp sulking around with all the rest of the jerks who want to "rule the game" so to speak, and burn everything and everyone that doesn't fit into their little cookie cutter idea of what FL should look like. I am sick and tired of people being bad losers and worse winners. I could start dropping names and logs, but I won't- it's not worth it.

What I do find funny, is all the people that do these things (and YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE) are the same ones who cry scream and bitch when anything doesn't go their way. They're the first ones to go ooc, they're the first ones to result to low and dirty tactics, they're the first ones to gang, and they're the first ones to try and ruin other players experience (not the character, the player).

This has gone on way further than it ought to have, and I am to fault and I'm sorry for that, but you know what? I am sick of the asshats who act nice, cordial, and innocent acting like complete pieces of trash when they don't get their way. I'm sick of people thinking it's ok to trash people when what they think should happen doesn't.

My whole experience with Ilthrias has been consistently hindered by such bull****. I don't care about getting looted or whatever (cabal outfit is great), but I do care about attacks on me as a person and a player, and all it does is make me not want to play. Obviously, given the origins of the post I am not the only one. So no, this is not a simple matter of opinion. This is a matter of general douchebaggery and ultimately the cost and reward of playing.

Tolerate everything except intolerance because intolerance is oppression. Opinions won't trump facts and the first amendment protects you from government, not from another person's (or an employer's) opinions. Language is telling. Diversity requires tolerance and understanding. Betraying it first warrants an equal and opposite reaction for balance.

Rilithin was a great character, at least from my perspective. Great at both pk and rp. A shame to see the character and the player go, would have loved for them to see all of their hard work reach a conclusion.

Alright, well..this thread has become very eventful while I was at work..

First off, I didn't mean any offense by saying "crap". I meant it as a general term for "stuff". Not "crappy".

Secondly, to say I haven't participated is RIDICULOUS considering I was Courael and I was involved in it for a very long time. I wasn't even TALKING about the characters, so, again, RELAX. I was talking about the plot and that it is taking forever to find out what happens. I want to see some stuff go down and have INTERACTIONS, but instead when I talk to Ilthrias he tells me he doesn't know, since I played Iritosul and you told me you had no idea what was happening, you can understand why I want to know WTF is going on with a plot that hasn't seen ANY progression for a long *** time.

I wasn't being a douche nor an ******* by saying a plot is going on for far too long. If you don't think it is, great. I think it is and I would like to see some newer stuff go down. Sue me.

Now, you want to whine and cry about how hard the players are on you, but bro...watch it. I have calmed you down IN GAME because you lost ALL control. Don't go around saying all this bull**** when you are RIGHT there with'em, pal.

My characters are currently involved in the plot. You misunderstand my desire for it to end as I don't like it at all. In fact, I love it. I've been a part, albeit small, for quite a while across a few characters. But I want to see how it ENDS. I don't want it to end cause it sucks, I want it to end cause its great. I wanna know how the story concludes and what happens.

We know what happened to Rilithin, he deleted. They'll make some story about his death, which sucks, but that's life.

The plot did go downhill after Sir Ryvin passed and Lady Rayne quit playing. It was so encourage then to go on and join the plot. Many things arose within the faction and I was really excited to see exactly where everything was going.

Once Ryvin died off and Rayne disappear, it turned into a waiting game. Where are the sons? Who were the sons? etc..

The plot itself sat in a dead lock. No one was in charge and no one was put in charge, even though a few characters attempted to continue on in the short absence.

What I think Trick is saying is that the plot, whatever its desire is now (its different than it was originally), is taking a long time. There is no further development towards what is going on. Aabahran knows now about the faction and yet I dont see many things going public about it.

The Corinthean Empire, where is this going? I've heard nothing of it, with maybe the exception of once. I loved the idea of the plot, but it became so stale and boring with no evolution of outside RP.

Just my 2 cents.

But, all in all, I think this thread should get locked. Too much bickering and whining.

Here you all are, doing it again. Pointing the finger. "DANCE FOR ME!" Plots, especially like this, take TIME. You're bored with it? Who gives a damn, DO SOMETHING ELSE. DO YOUR OWN PLOT. MAKE SOMETHING INTERESTING IN THE MEAN TIME. Frankly, the fact that I felt like so many people were demanding that something happen NOW NOW NOW was ridiculously over the top. Trick: I guess your eyesight or your reading is off. I never said I never got angry IC nor did I complain when people got angry at me IC. I am talking about the blatant breaking of character for ooc insults. Furthermore, the Val Miran plot is NOT a Corimak plot and I have no control over where it goes or how long it takes. I didn't say you didn't participate, I said that you don't have to if you dislike it so much.

I don't care about achievements. I play to be part of a living story, and quite frankly a bunch of ooc ruins that for me. I could go read a book and not have to have it ruined. Furthermore, I am not on a high horse nor am I haughty. I've never claimed I was great, strong, or powerful as a player. Quite frankly, I'm not all that great at pk, and just try to do my best. I just play to rp, and to help other people predominately. Your comments are consistent with your normal forum personality of being an arrogant prick. You're right and everyone else can suck it, right?
