EyeSeeU
After coming off a season ending injury early in 2004. Steve Smith of the Carolina Panthers has had a remarkable season. His pure talents and insane statistical year has helped me win my fantasy football league... So I would like to take a minute of time to Salute him as the true MVP of the leauge, and here is why. 2005 Carolina Panthers 16 games played out of 16 games. 103 receptions with 1,563 yards recieving at 15.2 yards per catch. His longest recieving touchdown was 80 yards. Steve had 12 touchdowns recieving to lead all recievers. He also had 22 twenty + yard catches and 7 fourty + yard catches accumulating 70 first downs and that my friends is only recieving. Steve being such the versitle player he is even ran the ball behind the backfield at 4 attempts for 25 yards and 1 touchdown. Thats a 6.3 ypc people! All I gotta say is Shaun Alexander who:confused:
Chayesh
Shaun Alexander: Rushing: 370 attempts for 1880 yards = avg. of 5.1 a carry with 27 TDs Receiving: 15 receptions for 78 yards = avg. of 5.2 a catch with 1 TD Fumbles Lost: 1 The only problem I foresee is that Washington held him to only 98 yards and 1 TD in a 20-17 loss earlier this season. EyeSeeU
So what are you trying to say here? Sure Shaun Alexander had all those rushing TD's but any running back in their right mind could run behind his offensive line there in seattle... Seriously I could run behind it. Even though I picked them Seattle may fall quickly from the ranks... They had the easiest season out of any playoff team this year.
