Rp Points

With the induction of rp points we have seen an overall increase in rp, moreso even than we had hoped for.
A certain amount of rp points will be a requirement for cabal promotions past V rank from now on:

 

Nobility now requires a minimum of 20 rp points. If you fall beneath, you lose the flag.
Royalty now requires a minimum of 40 rp points. If you fall beneath, you lose the flag.
Any qclass/race now requires a minimum of 20 rp points.
Restrings require a minimum of 5 rp points.
Cabal T now requires a minimum of 5 rp points.
Cabal Elders now require a minimum of 20 rp points.
Cabal Leaders now require a minimum of 30 rp points.

This will be applied to all characters.

The points do not stack, so a restrung qrace L would still need 30 rp points to keep his position, a royal L would still need 40.
We also would like to emphasize that fl is not a shooter game. We encourage rp and ic conduct. If a qrace or cabal L/E loses rp through going ooc, bad rp, cussing, etc. they are also in danger of losing their position, or, as a qrace, the character.

If we notice a character does not fulfill the requirements, we will talk to them and see if a solution can be found before demoting / denying. To avoid unpleasantness like this we highly recommend you try to keep within the requirements.

Sidenote:
We've also decided on an update on cabal positions:
- you may not have a char in two hardcoded vendettaed cabals (nothing new)
- You may not have more than one L at any given time. If you wish to get L in a cabal and already have a L in another, you will have to find a way with that cabal imm to demote you to E.
- You may not have more than two Es or one L and an E at any given time.

Reason: we do not wish for one character to dominate the whole political structure too much, influencing wars and alliances (in the worst case to benefit their other character(s). We also wish to give several players a chance to get these covetet positions. We also hope to encourage players to try to gain these positions via rp and notority if they lack on the side of pk success.

How rp points can be earned:
- ic notes (to all, to someone Immortal, to Herald, etc. Put Immortal on copy so we know what you are doing)
- rp logs submitted on prayer (these will only get posted if it is not to the disadvantage of existing charcters AND it is wanted)
- rp with yourself, other players, mobs, imms
- filling in your history (depending on how much work you put in in, originality, quality)
- applications (if they have a good quality)
- soon to come: you'll get 1 automatic point for an approved desc to get you started
