Imoutgoodbye
I was curious to see if anyone had ever used Amazon to publish their work? Or if anyone bought books for their Kindle? I finally wrapped up work on my poetry book (topped out at 112 typed pages) and am looking to publish within the next month. However, I am aware there is not a large market for poetry in print in the U.S. and most established publishing companies probably won't even give a poetry book a glance, so I'm planning on using Amazon to publish first for Kindle to reach a global market and then if that goes well, switching the book to print. Aulian
I read 1-2 books a week.. All off Amazon mostly for my Kindle... (although I do have 40,000 books which were given to me on a hard drive and try and read from there quite a bit too.) Dose that help Valek? Mali
I'm old school. I only read paper books. I do read digital journal articles for work. I can't stand e-books. Kids these days need to get the hell off my lawn with their fancy computers, their piercings, and their short pants. No respect. If you have poetry you better put it on paper. When I play MUDS, I handwrite my actions before I transcribe them to a computer. I bet some of these youngins can't even write in cursive. Don't even get me started on that rap music.
