Ok so i guess i thought those were the end goal, being that theres not a whole lot of people around i was wondering if there were like stepping stones to get to that point.. i tried to get drstam by myself and jist aboit died lol.. i got a crab and a cult lookout just to have more bodies to cover me but that didnt work too well.

The cook in flying citadel is nice, magical damage - acid blasts mess him up

Gigantic crab is always a good started, dirts bashes and is hasted

Drstam after you get those two should be a breeze 

even the lion guardian guys in the hamlet can be a decent starter

I like the inn keeper from winter too since he does divine power dmg

 

 

 

I want to add that I am not the best Necro, perhaps Mindflayer could chime in with better info.

Cult lookout IMO isn't a good stepping stone. If you can raise him, you can raise mahn-zhar. Mahn is probably the best leveling zombie, and he stays relevant when you need to upgrade. With him and a crab, and consumables, drstam is easy @40ish, which replaces mahn. Travl will replace the crab. Shudde at 50. Deso guardian replaces mahn, traven replaces travl. If you need a more seem less transition and grouping is scarce, replace crab with gasteride like f0xx suggested I would think.

Gasteride is within Gasterides fortress north and east of Maelbrim and is very difficult to get to, maybe impossible alone.

Travl is in the dwarven town south of blackwatch.

Travens as well as the guardians of desolation are within desolation, west of Dischord. - Hard to impossible alone as a necro.

Shudde M'ell is in the Caverns of Shudde M'ell which is within the ruins of Anduin.

Best zombies that you can get solo:

 

Travl

Lirin

Drstam

Shudde'mell

 

Once you have any three of those, trade in Lirin for the Innkeeper from Winter - 3 attacks/round, divine damage, trips a lot

 

Once you have Travl/Drstam, Shudde and Innkeeper...get yourself a wand of wind.

 

To kill Drstam, try making your stone golem take the damage while you mal him up...curse/weaken/blind/plague/poison.  Then use vampiric touch as needed while your zombies do the rest.

 

Killing Shudde solo requires some knowledge that we can't share.  If you don't know how, try asking in game.

OK - Equipment Im going to suggest going max hp at this stage until you get a feel for what you're likely to combat in the future. 

 

Rings of fire are great as a hp/mana/saves combo (can evils use these? lol... Fail if they cant its been a LOOONG time.)

Yes, the Ring of Fire can be used by evil's too.  Or now.  Whatever, the wiki is accurate.  Held by the Elf Lord.

Gargantuan Squid hat is held by the ... wait for it.  Gargantuan Squid.

 

The Wiki is a great place to go, even to get started.

 

As for the list of things you can kill, some will take more effort than others.  The Dark-Knight Mercenary and Blue Sergeant (level 30) will be cake next to the Gargantuan Squid and the Swamp King (level 50's and swings).  But still can be done solo.

 

Also as Aulian stated, it's a starting point.

Also, don't forget to ask in game and for help with getting some of those bigger zombies.
