f0xx
Lol, using Faye as example to prove a point... As usually, someone is twisting things in attempt to support his claims, and is well aware that what Faye did back then to achieve that AC, is now both impossible and illegal. But w/e... Aulian
Ah yes. I recall the change log now. It was only made illegal after the fact to be fair. When I played the class doing this secret thing, it was still legal so I also preformed that service for other people.
The-Nameless
Your forgetting another 50 ac from bless Aulian. And yes, Feral druid has 103 in defenses, and the highest dex of any druid possible. Meaning you have the most defensive druid possible, with similar hp, and mana to human/werebeast. And yes, I use faye as an example, as she had 3-4 less dex than a feral, and achieved huge ac numbers. AC of 600 is easily possible as a feral druid, those numbers mean your taking very little damage, and skills are missing at a very reliable rate. YOu cannot argue these facts f0xx. It is not possible. I am not twisting any facts. Faye used loopholes in the system at the time yes, but the numbers do not lie. I fought faye with a crusader who had around 70 hitroll, and 110 damage roll. I never even came close to beating her in a duel. I missed every combat skill, and barely touched her in melee. That was with one defense on her side. Imagine having 6-700 ac with the highest defenses of any race in the game. If your telling me this is not going to make an insanely strong druid, your nuts. Aulian
I still don't get it. They're a turtle... Hard to kill but equally hard to kill with? What are you planning to to? Lightning bolt people to death? Better not make it rain because someone is going to light you up like a candle.
Mmm Coffee
Hard to hit, but with a vuln...that's the tradeoff. I don't think over-poweredness is the reason they can't be. The racial lore makes sense, it just seems odd they can be Watchers and priests, but not druids.
f0xx
Fact twist: And yes, Feral druid has 103 in defenses. Meaning you have the most defensive druid possible. Yes, actually, ferals have 103 in parry, dual parry and dodge. Of those three defences, druids have access to two. This means that if you are fighting a feral druid, he will have parry at 103, dodge at 103, and shield block at 100. In comparison with falcons, who have only one defence but is rather good one - dodge at 110. Pure lie: I use faye as an example, as she had 3-4 less dex than a feral ...and the highest dex of any druid possible... Actually, falcons have 24 dex, which is the same number as ferals. Fact twist: I fought faye with a crusader who had around 70 hitroll, and 110 damage roll Isn't that the same crusader I killed with my level 43 blademaster when you came after me? The same crusader you claimed to be terribly bugged? Tbh, I am not surprised you didn't manage to beat Faye So finally, after I dispelled some of the mis-information you are trying to sell us... If your telling me this is not going to make an insanely strong druid, your nuts. I am telling you that it will make a druid that is just as strong, if not even weaker, than a falcon. You know very well yourself, that the difference between 100 and 103 in defences is so small that it can be easily ignored. You've told me that yourself and I can provide a log of it. Now you are trying to say that it matters "Oh so much." The fact is, that clerics can have almost as good AC ratings as druids, but noone has ever complained about what PK monsters feral druids were. Actually I only remember one proper feral cleric in all my playing history.

Implementor Erelei Posted August 16, 2014 Implementor Report Share Posted August 16, 2014 There's nothing stopping anyone from creating a feral druid. That aside, ferals are corrupted by Gaia, not blessed, thus are not allowed the 'blessing' in FL lore, hence them not being able to go on the quest. Shame on all of you and your flame war.
