It is my understanding he had a long time battle dealing with cocaine addiction, I am not sure I would feel any better knowing it was one or the other. I will certainly fondly remember his movies and standup comedy, and regret not seeing him in whatever future roles he may have played. He certainly seemed to live the mantra "Carpe Deim".
