Ruindorf
Hi... yeah been years. Most likely my wife and kids won't let me come back to any where near my old level... but figure I can spare a little time to see how things are going these days... and see if maybe I can still kill anyone Sad to see that all my old characters are gone Now I have to rank up before I can even explore new areas. I lost all my zmud aliases and stuff too... so starting from scratch... so I will be easy pickins for a long time probably
MeleeCrazy
ZMUD damn, you are from way back...Most of us use ROAclient nowadays. Anyways welcome back...
Iyorvin
Lmao. I still use and will always use GMUD. I think there is a couple peeps who use telnet still. WB bro, and I know it won't take you long to grasp the basics.
EtsoShex
GMUD, amen. Telnet, though? Seriously? That stuff is MUD satan.
Acerbity
I use telnet. And no, it's freedom. I don't have to worry about triggers, macros, or any other things other people have found to get around the mechanics of the mud, going off at a critical point in time. It's challenging, too. And I like it.
Iyorvin
Your keyboard must be wore down. I can type 120 wpm but I'm not about to do it and go through a keyboard a month. I don't use macros/or triggers, they kill you. I only use aliases to shorten the amount I have to type, thus saving my keyboard.
Acerbity
I use the mud aliases. Aliases are cool. Macros, and triggers, aren't cool. I've gone through several keyboards, and by god, let me tell you, my WPM is pretty high. Last I clocked at 110 WPM in Highschool. I know I've gotten faster since then. Iconz
Wow... another old timer. Good to have you around again man... You prolly dont remember me...but I played Apollon back in the day. I think you were one of the seven that performed the ritual that freed Karman right? And you were a Theran Wind right??
Ruindorf
Hi Iconz, yeah I was one of the Theran Wind and I do recall doing something to free Karman, he was that demon possessed bard right? Wow... long time ago... been looking through the forums and see that there are still a few old timers left. Good to hear. Now if a few of you could help rank my new guy, maybe I could get somewhere
