Before the Hall
  Sprawling before you is a massive construct of wood.  Fully hundreds of
feet long and over a hundred feet wide, this multi-storied structure looms
above even the tallest tree.  Made of the thick, ancient trees, interlaced,
and set with tar and pitch, it is topped off with a brick shingled roof. 
There is no decoration covering the outside, or sign announcing its name or
purpose.  Inside there can be heard the muffled sounds of combat and raucous
laughter and singing.  Around the structure lies a tall wooden fence with
guard shacks placed at the openings, and towers set high above.

hair reaches for his shoulders and leaves behind black streaks across
his pale, oily face peppered with dirt specks. His face is as
repulsive as his body odor, and it is obvious that this specimen
hasn't bathed this month. Rubbery, very thick looking skin with clumps
of hair coats the strong and capable frame of this humanoid behemoth.
Most of the gear he carries look abused and unkempt, with the exception
of his weapons, which are treated and honed to a high degree. Slung
over his shoulder is a large and round metal shield with a simple strap
of leather serving as a handle. The surface is battered shapeless
and scorched black with fire. Just above his warm, bright blue eyes,

From their brutish style of fighting, berserkers have long since utilized
their heads as part of their arsenal in combat.  They have been known to hit
their opponent's heads with their own head, causing a temporary dizzying
affect to the victim.  While dizzy, the victim would be rendered too
uncoordinated to cast spells or commune prayers.

Roar
Syntax: roar
A berserker can try to intimidate their opponent by letting out a primal
roar that shakes the ground they walk upon.  When the berserker is
successful, the victim will be temporarily weakened by lack of self
confidence.  Furthermore, stories have been told about roars so fierce
that the victim is left in a state of pure fear. Roar can only be used
within combat.

He was actually raged.

Few things:

1. That trample lag is quite immense - 3 rounds.

If you look up though, you can see that I wouldn't have to be worried yet. Love glimmering staffs. If he'd been lucky enough to punch off both sanc and flight I'd have been in real trouble.

2. Is trip (trample) affected by the new lag changes i.e. more than 4 bashes having higher chance to miss? I've noticed my characters missing chained trips more often recently, and this log now makes me wonder that.

I wouldn't have lead with body slam. I would have dirt kicked THEN gone for the haymaker. Increased chance of success and he wouldn't have defended half as well as he did.

 

I rarely lead with body slam as my zerk unless I was chasing, and even then i was scared to have the lag of missing. Dirt kick all the way.
