<970h 832m 406v 141703g> 2:00  Rooted heavily to the ground below, a massive humanoid figure looms
before you.  Every physical attribute seems to be overgrown in every way,
from muscle size to head size, it is all extremely large.  A perfect example
of what offspring are shepherded into Aabahrans world from the ogre lineage.
The Ogres head harbors a massive crest that explodes from the top of his
head, the dull grey, animal-fat caked mohawk shoots towards the skies of
Aabahran.  A color change forced upon him by the tribulations of life at war
and the stresses that come with it, the grey a trademark of his experience.
Shifting moderately in the wind, the crest dances back and forth.  His face
was not spared from the brutal life of an ogre tribesman as it is a network
of scars and burns.  A similarly colored beard falls from his hard, chiseled
jaw line.  Left free of adornments, the beard moves freely in whatever
breeze comes along.  

The Ogres wide torso is bare of any sort of protection.  His tanned body
forced out into the harsh seasons of Aabahran.  Besides a matted, fur loin
cloth, the only other piece of equipment he wears is a large iron belt
buckle.  The dim piece of metal is extremely dented and damaged from
previous engagements, it manages to cover and protect him from his belly
button to mid thigh.  

Strapped to the mans back, an enormous battle axe finds its home.  The
weapon nearly as tall as its owner and just as wide, it is strapped securely
to his back.  Finalizing his appearance, the smell of sweat and dirt wafts
its way from his body to your nose in an onslaught of stench.  
Agruuk currently holds the title of Master Questor of Aabahran.
Agruuk is in excellent condition.

Okay, like Jarius said we agree to duel in the Ford. He won’t calm and I won’t cleave at all. Strategy for me is simple. Do tons of damage and try to stay on him so he can’t cure.

 

I lost the first few rounds due to some client issues, but it kicked back on just after he fled to water. I knew I was going to basically auto-rage, so I refused to fight him on water unless he was really hurt.

Sheesh.  Looking at that again from your perspective, I can't believe how much I miscalculated the status of the fight toward the end.  Berserk was a problem for sure, especially as I wasn't even thinking about you using that to heal.

How does Agruuk punch through the magical shield as a Devastation Zerk? I thought only Anger zerks could land a haymaker when the opponent was wearing a shield....

Low chance successes can still happen.

 

With calm this fight would have been a very different beast.

A cleric should take the time to get a burnprof shield. Or at least use the 10 shields in backpack thing.

 

A cleric should not use the Dragonkin orb in combat. Scrolls of flight or pill of flight for when you don't wish to flee.

 

A cleric should avoid fighting blinded. He dirts, you flee and cure twice with 2 rounds of advantage.

There is also this trick where you engage close to the end of the tic so that when he dirts, it's gone.
