GONE AGAIN, BUT WENT TO RECLAIM HIS PETS, SO I CUT HIM OFF.
 
  Long, thick steps cut into the chasm wall lead up toward the castle above
you.  The walls are stark, with naught but scrub brush covering them.  There
is nothing around that could provide protection from those above you, or
from the elements around you.  The wind howls as it runs through the chasm,
whipping at your clothes and equipment.

Nearing a Battlefield
  As you step away from the chasm steps, you come upon a Castle, in the
distance, that has seen recent battle.  Bodies are strewn casually on the
bloody ground here.  The corpses of great Demons and armored Knights have
fallen in nearly equal quantities.  From this vantage point you can see the
remodeled walls of the Knight Castle, towering and defiant against the
ceasless assaults of their enemies.  Their gleaming expanse threatens to
blind any attacker, and casts them in stark contrast with the blackened
earth they traverse.

obvious, you see the aftermath of some calamity: the castle's famous wall

cleared away, the damage is still very obvious.

I don't think Mortsukas saved any of those Hellstreams.

 

Amazing HP and mana on Sylf. He really works for it.

 

Just did a tally on the damage per round taken:

1213 - 1032 = 181
1032 -  946 =  86
 941 -  795 = 146
 795 -  754 =  41
 754 -  571 = 183 Flee-reengage
1106 -  997 = 109 Ninbus healing
 975 -  809 = 166 Dirt opener
 809 -  693 = 116
 693 -  574 = 119
 574 -  489 =  85 Nimbus Healing

Invoker: Fire(ice as per his ranged weapon) shield and flame arrow(icicle) would have worked wonders in this fight, especially as he tries to flee/reengage for double rounds. It is your best chaser as well....you can almost flee lock somebody with it. It is great for running down people in the chasm and cities.

 

The fire shield also increases your dps substantially...as soon as they switch to physical weapons to bypass your mana shield, cancel it and put up that fire/ice shield to max your own ouput and mess up their weapon selection.

 

Ogre: Major equipment deficiency? If not, really look at your hit/dam/saves ratio and rethink. This is actually a fight to your advantage. Just get the invoker poisoned. There isn't any rush in this fight....you will always win the regen battle--that means you will always win the fight. Opposite advice to the above as well...keep him stuck on mana shield as long as possible and get some physical arrows. Not the best place to fight him...if he sits only in that room, let the regen eat him. Flee and reengage for double rounds sucks in low exit rooms...hard to flee; easy to get trapped by firestorm...and that is what killed you.
