So what's your top 3-5 current (so still going or ended recently) series (any ongoing program on television, internet, etc..)

Here's mine:

1. Naruto (Anime still going)

2. Game of Thrones

3. The Walking Dead

4. Shameless

5. Twelve Monkeys (Awesome new series on Syfy, def worth checking out)

Maybe this has been asked recently, I dunno. But whats yours? It was hard for me to narrow it down to 5.

Honorable Mentions: Black Sails, Vikings, Justified, anything with blood haha!

Can't wait for House of Cards to come back, I was all excited when i heard it leaked early but apparently no one managed to grab it. I'm a Dr.Who fan, I liked Matt Smith a lot, was sad when he left but Peter Capaldi is doing a good job, although I think its Clara thats making it good. Glad someone else is appreciating Twelve Monkies (I also went to spell it Monkies) but spellcheck says its Monkeys, I even tweeted the guy who plays Cole to tell him how good of a job hes doing, I think this will be a big deal for syfy.

Movies, TV Shows (anime included) and Books are like 'hobbies' to me. so, to choose from, I've A LOT.

Game of Thrones
Vikings
The Walking Dead
Salem
Penny Dreadful

Honorable Mentions: Helix, The Wrong Mans, The Blacklist, Shameless, Parks & Recreation, Sword Art Online, Naruto

Not yet seen, but want to see: Black Sails, Twelve Monkeys

I watch quite a few more like Constantine, Sleepy Hollow, Agents of Shield, Gotham, etc.. but they're not always enjoyable. They're hit or miss series, one episode will be decent while the next is hard to get through.

Or you could just pay the £5 a month and watch it high quality when it comes out in like 3 days on Netflixx?

I have access to a netflix account, but I just wanted to watch it early. I went out and bought/read the Game of Thrones books a cpl years go just to find out "what happens next". Pretty much the moment it comes out it would be on the website I use to stream shows, which IS high quality by the way. But I've been into Warez and all free internet stuff since its inception, so I don't usually pay for things when it comes to the internet, but I do LIKE netflix and want them to continue making shows like OITNB, Marco Polo and House of Cards, so we do pay for a subscription. But I watch everything on showtime, hbo and starz and don't pay a cent for any of those and they're posted on the site as soon as the episode is over in high quality. I always tell people if you have internet you don't need to pay for Cable TV, 95% of it is crap anyway.

Black Sails is really good, worth checking out if you liked Treasure Island or anything with pirates.

Banshee is pretty good, alot of decent action and fighting scenes for a television series.

American Horror Story, season four was the best yet, none of the seasons run together so you can watch them in any order.  They do recycle actors.  Jessica Lange is great in it, shes one of the main characters in every season.

Hourse of cards is probably my favorite, the drama is on par if not more intense than walking dead and the show will just throw you for a loop, it's unbelievable.

Simpsons.

Edit:  I forgot to mention Better Call Saul, I watched the first four episodes, the show definitely gets better as it goes along.

Better call saul has been good, black sails has been great, the guy who plays Charles Vane is completely different than in Shameless, still just as ridiculously buff. My mom just started watching House of Cards and I'm waiting till the comes to me and says "What the..." when you-know-what happens, only kevin spacey could make frank underwood likeable, I tweeted that to him. I think you have to like political intrigue to like house of cards, and if you do its incredible. I watched true detective as well as the vice documentary about the actual case, both mccaughnahey (sp?) and Harrelson were excellent.

Oh yes, watch the whole season, in the immortal words of Philadelphia native Kevin Hart, "It's about..to go...down!" I didn't get anything done or log on friday or saturday bc I watched all 13 seasons in a row, then my 12 monkeys and Black Sails. How about Captain Jack Racham in black sails eh? I thought thats what he was going to do, and he seems like such a wimp too. I love Clara Paget who plays Ann Bonnie the pirate woman, shes gorgeous. Also HOW ABOUT THAT WALKING DEAD? Even when theres not much action that show is just PHENOMENAL!!
