Unknown Criminal
Can it be done without training sessions? Magick
The two ways I can think of besides getting your +str gear and consumables is burning cabal points and roleplaying points. The former is 500 per boost, the latter is 50 per.

Mmm Coffee
Yeah, cabal points are the way to go. I always max out stats with CP's and save trains for hp/mana. There's also a very easy to obtain potion for giant strength. I think there's a stave or herb too. Check the consumables list on the wiki site. Unknown Criminal
A lot of attitude for someone who is asking for help...No attitude intended, it was a simple question that required a simple answer not a redirect. Dale
I kinda felt like you already knew the answer when you asked.
disgai
So you didn't train your strength to max to begin with? Also, is it true if you put your trains into hp/mana early it'll affect how much you wind up with? Is it better to wait til 50? Lastly, If people don't have anything helpful or constructive to say, why even respond?
Magick
Also, is it true if you put your trains into hp/mana early it'll affect how much you wind up with? Is it better to wait til 50? Lastly, If people don't have anything helpful or constructive to say, why even respond? It does not matter when you spend your trains. It's a bonus. What does matter when you gain hp's for a level is your current CON, class and if you're an ogre or not. Previous hp gains, trains spent, etc, do not. I have an answer for your last question too, but I'm just going to bite my tongue.
English lad
The issue of when you spend your trains isn't quite that simple. Yes its a bonus on top of your existing HP - but the HP gains / level calculation does try to roughly normalise your HP across 50 levels - so if you have high HP early in the levelling process you do have a slight chance of getting smaller gains. At least this was how it was at one point. With that amount of changes that have happened since I last played actively ( A GOOD thing!) I can't say if it is still the case. f0xx
It's been stated multiple times by Anume and Morle that your current max HP does not determine your HP gains when you level up. Other than that, everyone is free to do and believe what they want.
Magick
I don't think it's ever been like that. Part of the problem with it is people tend to see (and remember) the bad more than the good and as such, it tends to shift your perspective to be worse than it actually is. People are also more inclined to then find a cause and effect relationship to explain why they've just been shafted. "I got less than average hit points this level! Something must be wrong! I just spent a train to increase my hit points. The two must be related!" Wrong! The RNG hated you that level. Suck it up.http://cdn.meme.am/instances/500x/52582417.jpg Of course, it's possible it was actually like that. If that's the case, then that information is old and outdated and you need to lay it to rest. The point still remains, though.
